Do not buy

Its an absolute waste of money and complete garbage. The fact that this dinosaur of a product is still sold and marketed with the new Xboxes is an absolute joke.

Short lifespan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lasted only 17 months, I tried to use Seagate tools from Seagate but even their own tool couldn't repair bad sector and neither Windows native Disk management could't repair it. The drive is spinning but unable to read anything. The drive was never moved and pretty much on the same spot next to Xbox entire time. I'm not sure if my expectations are too high and this is a new norm nowadays but personally I would expect that it would last at least 2 years at minimum. This was the last time I bought such a drive. The price is good but I'm not willing to keep buying every year new drive. I will go with SSD based only from now on.

Good for old xbox not series x/s

Don’t Waste Your Money

It’s been about 7 months since it was replaced. The last one only lasted about 5-6 months. Seagate assured me a one year warranty on the second one also, but when I called, told me my warranty has expired. Horrible customer service with cheap products. I’ll never purchase another seagate product and I’ll deter everyone I know away from their products.
