You have the option to set the external as the preferred download location & can transfer all of your current games that are stored internally to the external. Does the job well.

Added to unit, selected storage under settings, added it to pool, and off I went! UI and running in minutes. Now I have 3Tb operational OK my Xbox. Awesome.

Stand storage on the XBOX one leaves you needing more room. This game in handy especially with all the constant updates.

The extra space is a must as most of the games are many gigabytes big, if you have one of the original smaller storage Xbox ones this is a must to purchase and play more games.
