Nothing says “Game Over” for the Xbox experience like an overloaded drive. Boost your console’s storage capacity with the Seagate® Game Drive for Xbox, the only external drive designed exclusively for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. In a slim size that fits in your pocket, you can store your current game collection and downloadable content—with tons of space left over for your next most anticipated games.
Q: Does this include the usb connector cable to go from the hard drive to the console?
A: Yes it does! I thought it didn't either but it's on the box along with the hard drive
A: We unplug ours all the time to transfer between consoles. Just be sure to completely power off your xbone before you unplug it and before plugging it in
A: You can use any 3.0 USB hard drive with a minimum of 256gb.
A: getting a new hardrive is the cheaper option
A: No, if you have games on it you can only have the games because of the formatting.
A: You can delete/erase the content on the Internal Hard Drive but this is a settings feature. This has nothing to do with the XBox External drive. Adding the external drive itself doesn't erase content on the main drive, Hope this helps.
Q: Does It Work With Xbox Series S????
A: External HDs work with the next gen. consoles, but most games that are optimized for the Series S/X can only be played from the internal HD or their proprietary Seagate expandable HD they sell for $220 that plugs into the port on the back. If you have a game that's optimized for next gen. it will simply not do anything when you click on it to play it if it is existing only on this external HD. The work around is simply moving the next gen. optimized games you want to play to the internal HD when you are wanting to play them, and then back to the external HD when you are just needing them stored and free up space on the internal HD.
Q: can 360 controller be adapt to xbox 1 s
A: The controllers that work for xbox 360 will not work for xbox one.
