Not compatible with newer X|S games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is not as compatible with the Series X|S as they'd like you to believe and there are not enough warnings about this. While the drive can be plugged into a Series X|S console, you cannot play newer games from it. It will play Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One games without any problem, but it will not play anything for Series X|S even if that that game is an Xbox One game that has subsequently been updated to take advantage of X|S speeds. As more games are updated, you will be able to play fewer and fewer of them from this hard drive. And you cannot store both captures and games on it (unlike the internal hard drive). So, if you need it for captures or older hardware, buy it, but if you're looking to expand your X|S storage for games, it is a waste of money.
