Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the gameplay, story, action sequences, and controls of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. However, some players find the game's difficulty challenging, citing a steep learning curve and demanding boss fights as potential drawbacks. A few also mentioned frame rate inconsistencies. Overall, the positive feedback on the core gameplay mechanics outweighs the concerns regarding difficulty.

I’m new to games from this developer, but I already picked up another game from them after playing this. It is a very challenging game, but it is also fun and rewarding!

This game has all you could want. Just be ready to die a lot, as this game is intense. But I suggest to everyone who liked Dark Souls and Demon Souls to get this game.

My son was in martial arts and also was in the military. I wanted a game that was challenging and required some skill acquisition, this game seemed like it fit the bill.

I've been a big fan of From Software games since the later King's Field games, and have loved all of them up until now. Sekiro is no exception. It is decidedly more fast-paced than the Souls games, and focuses on fast, smart, aggressive combat tactics not entirely unlike Bloodborne. The feeling of playing a shinobi with a grappling hook is perfectly realized -- by the time you reach the end of the game, you'll have honed the playstyle to a razor's edge and feel in tune with the game's eponymous protagonist.

Sekiro is tough as nails. It's extremely challenging, but the controls and design are well done and fair. Super satisfying when you finally beat that next boss after the 100th try.

The game is hard like Dark Souls and has that vibe. You will die a lot, but death in the game teaches you how to beat the enemies. For hardcore gamers only!!!

PLAY IT. If you don't like games that are too challenging then I don't recommend it. But if you like getting your world wrecked pick it up. GOTY2019.

This game requires time to get used to as they do change some dynamics from the Souls Series. Leveling up is a bit different and takes the most to get good at.

This game is enjoyable, and mildly challenging. I was blasting through it, but didn't realize I actually had to "level" up to progress. I then realized I had to farm enemies to upgrade gear. I never went back and completed the game. I'm not a fan of farming.

Sekiro is an amazingly fun game. It is hard and rewarding, the visuals are fantastic and there seems to be quite a bit to it. A must if you like Soulsborne type of games.
