Customers are saying
Customers have good things to say about the gameplay, story, action sequences, and controls of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. However, some players find the game's difficulty challenging, citing a steep learning curve and demanding boss fights as potential drawbacks. A few also mentioned frame rate inconsistencies. Overall, the positive feedback on the core gameplay mechanics outweighs the concerns regarding difficulty.

Very challenging
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a lot like dark souls but in mystical ancient Japan time. Super challenging and recommend to those who are looking for a challenge

Just as difficult as promised
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On the surface it seemed to me a much friendlier From software game, then I found the first boss. And it became dark souls. Great game but it is very challenging.

Really dig it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is demanding, and rewarding. Always hit up the trainer to brush up on your skills. If you love a challenge, and have the time to give, this game is a winner.

Beautiful, challenging and emotionally gripping
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A stunning evolution of the Souls formula with great additions in the stealth and mobility areas. Difficult mini and regular bosses, but super satisfying once bested.

Sekiro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am truly enjoying this game, I love the in your face combat. At first I was worried about the control setup but that turned out to be not an issue. I love how natural it feels, and how intense it looks. These types of games are truly amazing, when most developers are dumbing down their games, it almost makes games like sekiro seem super hard and unfair, but after playing bloodborne, and dark souls 3 and beating both I can honestly say they make you a better gamer. I will be spending a lot of time with sekiro, as I was a big fan of tenchu, the similarity is exactly what I wanted from a new Tenchu game.

Still the Same Love/Hate Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gorgeous but insanely hard. Requires patience and precision -- not for button-mashers. The "Game of the Year" Edition is a bit misleading: this is exactly the same as the original game, with a "Game of the Year" sticker stuck on the outside of the packaging. All of the new/extra content downloads via the internet (which the original game does for free already).

Challenging
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Difficult at first but you find your way through much like Dark Souls. Takes practice of course and of course I recommend it if I bought it.

Excellent Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super challenging but not to the point that it is overwhelming or discouraging. Difficult for game designers to hit that unique mark makes for an excellent game.

This game is brutally challenging and I love it
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never died so much in a game ever...but as soon as you figure out the game play and level up you will love what this game will put you through

Only for those who are very skilled and/or patient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful and challenging game from Miyazaki. I’ve played all the souls games plus Bloodborne and Nioh. From my experience this game is more challenging than all of those. Why? This game doesn’t allow for over leveling, and there’s no summoning others. Also, the combat requires precision timing and an ability to analyze the animation of moves in order to react appropriately. Beautiful graphics and level design. The skill trees and weapon upgrades are well thought out.

Spiritual successor to Tenchu?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like dark souls then you’ll love this game especially if you played Tenchu games previously released from From Software. Great game, and great gameplay.

From Software has done it again!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Focusing on a more action oriented game, Sekiro proves that the tried and true formula with some new additions just works. The only thing really lacking is replayability due to lack of customization and online pvp the souls series has. I had a blast playing through this and there are bosses in this game that are among the best From Software has ever created.

Tough as nails, but great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re familiar with FromSoft games you know what you’re getting. It’s brutally difficult, but one of the most rewarding gaming experiences you can have.

No easy mode, no problem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game can be frustrating, “unfair,” and challenging, but nothing beats learning the mechanics and tearing apart an enemy that took you down previously.
