Great game and very challenging. This will take a while to finish.

I bought this game for my brother. Since he has a full-time job, he rarely has time to play games but got so addicted to this one that he plays it for hours on end. The way he describes it, there's a lot of Dark Souls/Bloodborne DNA in there but there's enough differentiation in the gameplay to keep things interesting. Also worth noting is that (from what I understand), the lore and story of the game is based more on Japanese culture than the original creations found within typical soulsborne titles.

This is git gud the game. You will die alot, but if you continue you will feel and become like a God.

The game is hard. Not really a surprise for a game from From Software, but the design goes beyond that. To begin the story flows and twist like a great mystery novel and has the player wondering. The gameplay has a steep learning curve, but once learn the combat becomes fulfilling and enjoyable. While there are few tools and fewer weapons to pull from, the open way of deciding how to play does not. Going from stealth to open combat easily. Planning how to fight or when to retreat and regroup. The is enjoyable because of its difficulty giving a sense of accomplishment when a tough part is beaten. While many of the bosses are a pain and tedious to fight. The slow and steady grinding of the fight challenges to the patience of the player. Many parts are confusing and the use of similar areas can feel repetitive. Personal I miss the ability to both aid and be aided by other players. This is a great if stressful game.

It’s as hard as you want any Dark Souls game to be and as satisfying as you’ve come to expect. You’ll die a lot more than twice.

Sekiro is a challenging game, but rewarding once everything starts clicking. Highly recommended game.

I love strategy games and this game doesn’t disappoint. If you are looking for a challenge, then this is the game for you.

I’ve never played a game as challenging as this one died 53 time at the start of the game fun but wow can’t remember any game being this hard to play visuals are great and what little of the story I’ve seen has be amazing

Play as a Shinobi in Sengoku era Japan, seeking revenge against the samurai who kidnapped his lord and chopped off his arm. Traverse gorgeous environments fighting a multitude of punishing enemies and unforgiving level bosses each more powerful than the last. With an intriguing story-line as well as fleshed out characters, this is the most narratively-accessible game of all the FromSoftware titles. Play and see why this one 2019's game of the year. Highly recommended.

Tough as nails combat. I was completely drained by the time I reached Platinum. 10/10

I'm a HUGE fan of FromSoftware and the Soulsborne universe. This game has a great new combat style and interesting story.

The Souls games have beaten me down left and right. Sekiro takes it to another level. It's GOTY for many reasons.

there are some things this game sacrifices from the other souls games to tell a more concise story and i guess it would lose a few points for that. but, the combat is so addictive that i don't really care about anything else. i have beat it 10 times, all with the demon bell (hard mode) and no kuro's charm (chip damage) and i am still not tired of it. I am currently attempting no damage taken at all. If you bought this and are getting frustrated, don't give up!

Challenging but amazing! Recommended for fans of Dark Souls. Very smooth FPS on PS5.

The game is great at making you feel amazing or really bad at the game. Hard, fair and fun.

I can see why this is top 5 game of the year it takes me back to playing hards games but it fair to the point where its hard but when you beat the boss or a part of the game it feels great

Purchased this as a gift to my nephew but played it for a few hours and I was blown away by the graphics and the storyline!

Its like if Dark Souls and Bloodborne had a baby and it grew up and had a baby with the Assassins Creed Series. Great game!

The game is tough because you can die very easily but it feels great when you pass the level. The game looks great as well
