Look for a guide before playing this game hard learning curve but fun when you get the hang of it

Oh man this game is great! Really hard in she same vein as the dark souls series!

Really fun and addicting once you get the hang of it (which is very difficult) but very satisfying once you feel comfortable with the mechanics and controls.

Such a great game! Following their formula from previous games, From Software delivers a complex game with a high difficulty curve that rewards those that wish to invest in learning more about it world and gameplay and those who wish to master its intricate combat. A new twist from their previous games is a more vertical world that is easy to navigate and stealth mechanics that can change how you approach the game a lot. Highly recommended!

My husband is a fan of the dark soul universe! And he enjoyed this game to the fullest! 100 recommended

Beautiful game. Like really freaking gorgeous and has a ton of side quests to do.

The game is beautiful and there’s an incredible story. However I think there should be more of a gradual difficulty, at least for the beginning.

If you mastered the SoulsBourne games and are expecting to hop right in to From Software's newest game and start wrecking, you have another thing coming. I'm a SoulsBourne veteran. Hundreds of hours in all the games. The games are almost easy now and yet Sekiro destroys me. Absolutely wrecks me so thoroughly that it almost makes me regret buying the game. I spent nearly two hours on the first MINI BOSS. Not an actual boss, but a freaking mini boss. The game play is wildly different than From Software's other titles. I don't remember ever being this frustrated with any of the SoulsBourne games. With those games, beating a boss always produced an intense feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. So far in Sekiro, beating the big bois just leaves you feeling exhausted and relieved that the suffering is over. Hardly any satisfaction or accomplishment. Very little of that SoulsBourne high that drives you forward through the punishment, craving more. When you die, you lose XP similar to the SoulsBourne games except you can't get it back. Once it's gone, it is gone for good. And if you die enough times, all the NPC's in the game suffer from a disease that then prevents many of them from talking to you and giving you side quests. It is not easy to cure this disease. Not sure if I'll have it in me to finish this game. At least the story is interesting and on the off chance you beat a boss with perfectly timed deflects, counters, and dodges, it looks pretty cool. Expect to stumble through the fights though. Now excuse me as I go relive last night's Sekiro session while crying in a corner.

Fans of challenging and rewarding games will find a great experience here that all gamers must try.

It's early, but this game might just be the GOTY. Similar to Bloodborne, but even more challenging.

From Software delivers a fantastic game that I reccomend to anyone who wants a rewarding challenge.
