I've played Demon's Souls. I've played AND beat Dark Souls, Dark Souls II, Dark Souls III and Bloodborne. I even platinumed Bloodborne. So, I can handle a tough game. However, I've not yet beaten Sekiro. Mostly because I've gotten sidetracked with playing The Division 2, LOL. I"m currently stuck in an area of Sekiro now and plan on going back to it to progress. This game is very offensive and fast-paced, much like Bloodborne. But relies on reflexes and timed actions MUCH more. If you enjoy challenging but rewarding games, get this. Especially if you like FromSoftware and their games. However, if you get easily frustrated, have high blood pressure (haha) or limited patience, this game may not be for you. Oh, and there's no difficulty modes. Just good 'ol FromSoftware "Normal".

Really Difficult Action/Adventure Game

Deep and difficult game from From Software
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've played all the "souls" games since Demon's Souls in 2009 (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, and some other games in the same style from different developers). So far i'm about 5 hours in and I'm finding it more difficult than the previous games, since there are very little in the way of RPG mechanics, so you aren't getting much stronger over the course of the game (much more in line with a standard action game in that respect). But the UI, level design, music, and animation priority and style are all very similar to previous From Software games. Highly recommended so far.
