    I've played all the "souls" games since Demon's Souls in 2009 (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, and some other games in the same style from different developers). So far i'm about 5 hours in and I'm finding it more difficult than the previous games, since there are very little in the way of RPG mechanics, so you aren't getting much stronger over the course of the game (much more in line with a standard action game in that respect). But the UI, level design, music, and animation priority and style are all very similar to previous From Software games. Highly recommended so far.

    The combat system of this game is phenomenal. You really have to learn how to use it in order to be great at this game. Once you do figure it out it is very exhilarating! The bosses are OK with a few stand out ones. Be aware there are a lot of repeat bosses but they do make them interesting.

    This game much different than your typical souls game. There are some similar items and mechanics, but overall the game plays much different. Its almost as if Sekiro is Dark souls blended with Nioh and Assassins Creed. The movement is fun and makes traversing the different locations a pleasant experience compared to DS1 where you are just constantly running around.
