The character of Dark Souls but with the beautify of ancient Japan. Recommended for players looking to break into the "SoulsBorne" series of games.

So Sekiro is a great game but the difficult of this game makes it hard to play. You can't change the difficult either. If you're someone that casual games it might not be for you.

FromSoftware does it again. From the Dark Souls series to Bloodborne and now this! Difficult game but truly worth the time to play.

Bloodborne got nothing on this game. Challenging enemies, you need to think very fast. No slash and dash.

Minor Dark Souls fan, big Bloodborne fan, major samurai movie fan... Sekiro is good, if underwhelming compared to From Software's recent work. The world is beautiful, though the enemies bosses feel largely forgettable, which is a total 180 hot off of Bloodborne, whose enemies were varied and the major fights some of the best of the genre. It's a tough game, though not unforgiving. Nice that it's purely singleplayer. Better than a lot of crap out there, but I found myself more than a little disappointed.

Be prepared for potential frustration. Even as a Soulsborne veteran. While the core combat mechanics are simple enough, technical issues really hold this game back. Between mechanical enemy tracking, ridiculous hitboxes, questionable AI, and sometimes unresponsive controls, deaths frequently feel cheap. That said, if you're patient (or in my case, a stubborn masochist) the game is still worth a try. The majority of my issues with the game can be (hopefully) addressed in future updates.
