This game is a few years old now, so the price has gone down considerably. It was worth the full original MSRP, so there's never been a better time to pick it up. Back when this game came out, my girlfriend and I used to play together almost every evening while we were long-distance. It 's a chill and low pressure way to spend some time with friends, or by yourself to relax! This game is more than appropriate for kids (been playing games from this series since I was 10) but it does require quite a bit of reading. At their own pace though! Would be a really fun bonding activity for a parent and child, as it's simple enough for non-techy parents to play. You will however, need your own console and copy of the game. You don't need any amiibo to play this game, but they are compatible and do add something to the experience. You can unlock items and choose which animal villagers live in your town with the figures and cards associated with the Animal Crossing line. Again though, this game was out for years before amiibo came along, so they're fully optional!

This game has A LOT of content for a person to do. You can customize your house, catch bugs/fish, dig for fossils, personalize your avatar, sell items and much much more. There is no day without anything to do; every day you play is different from the last. I would recommend this game to anyone who owns a 3DS.

The kids love the game. The Nintendo 3ds console is easy for them to use and they enjoy playing it.

Animal Crossing New Leaf is an amazing game for anyone looking for a lighthearted life simulator.

My kids love this game, they play it frequently and are very entertained by all the characters.

My daughter had been Animal Crossing Leaf. When she found out, there was a previous version and it was the very first. We had to get it for her. My daughter has been playing it and loves it. So cool Nintendo made it available as a Classic and price of $20 is great.

This is a very inexpensive way to get in on one of the most popular Nintendo franchises. While gameplay is light, there is still a lot to do, and it's a fun game to check in on each day between more demanding games. Isabelle is also the best, who is also in Mario Kart 8.

It's a classic game that is cathartic and always fun. Remember to run when you see bees!

we got this game for my daughter. she chose it over newer games and loves playing it.

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. I own the game myself and have played it for a long time. It's definitely not one to be finished in a few hours and then set aside. The only downside for some people is that it goes by real time, so if you only have time to play late at night after work or stay up late you are limited in that most of the in-game shops don't stay open late at night.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a game that both demands a lot and yet nothing at all from you. The game is really what you make of it. It can easily draw you in and have you logging back in day after day to check on your community. Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a game that you could play every single day for a year and still be interested, or you could set it down for a month, pick it up, and continue right where you left off. It is one of the best games out there for a relaxing and charming experience that keeps you coming back for more. So far, I have been addicted to it since I started playing it 3 months ago and have hardly been able to go a week without checking on my town.

It’s probably the best animal crossing game and one of Nintendo’s best franchises.

I don't personally play but my kids are all into this game even though it's older.

Another classic Selects title. Perfect for my 11-yr old. Can't go wrong for $20.

This game is exceptional when it comes to a game good for passing time. You can do lots of stuff within the game and it is fun to play when you are in a different season. This game overall has a lot to offer as of things to do and stuff to play within the game.
