The game would no longer load. Nintendo wanted us to send in the console with the game because we were unable to troubleshoot further. The cost of the RMA was to be well more than the price of trying a replacement cartridge ($20 at this point). It was recommended to us to buy a downloaded version of the game because, if it becomes corrupt, you can just re-download it. The drawback being that if you do not like the game, you can't trade it in.
