Fun and Cute!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first experience with an Animal Crossing game, and I have to say that I love it so far! I slowly realized that there's a lot of running and collecting things to basically grind for money (which I'm sure changes later on as your town grows) but I found that I wasn't annoyed by this at all. In fact, the atmosphere of the game, as well as the characters and items you interact with, honestly made collecting fun! I didn't expect it to be time based (in that it tracks the date and time of day) but that just makes it where I want to play it all the time! It's a nice concept for a game in that you can't possibly finish it any faster than it's designed to, which helps you just sit back and enjoy the world.

Instant Classic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had just purchased a new 3DS from another store as Best Buy did not have any. I used to own one but lost it years ago and just never replaced it. Now I have and I enjoy it immensely. This game is a classic on the 3DS and you should purchase it now at only $20. If you don't own it, get it!

My favorite game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is so fun to play. I'm an adult who has a stressful job, so this is just so relaxing and cool to play. Running around collecting shells or selling your items. Expanding your house, and decorating it. I just can't get enough.

A fun, casual experience for anyone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've spent about 700 hours on this game and there's a huge variety of things to do such as fishing, island minigames, catching bugs, etc. It's also a great game to play with friends for a long while to do said activities.

Best game on 3DS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's a ton to do in this game and you can play it in a variety of ways, so there should be something that appeals to many people here. I highly recommend this game, especially at the low price it's at now.

I Don't Understand The Hype
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently got this game at Best Buy last year after hearing all the hype. I really started playing it a few months ago. However, I dont see how its incredible in any way. I'll admit, it is addicting, but it is so obvious the game creators made it that way on purpose. Almost everything is "Wait until tomorrow". And most of the shops close early, as a college student, the only time I get to play video games is at night and not even everyday! And the game penalizes you if you miss days. There are so many rules and so many things you can not do. For example, you cant start a new public work project the same day another one is completed, nor can you rotate your public work project (like a bench for example). And you can not buy multiples of things. For example if you want a red rose flower, you can only buy one until its available again! Ive heard people clocking in more than 500 hours into this game, I have done 40 and truly feel like this is my limit. I enjoyed it at first, but past the 40 hours, I feel like theres nothing left to do. I've decorated my town, and feel pretty satisfied with it (and that's saying alot because I love creating.) Decorating my home feels like a hassle compared to my experience with The Sims, where it's so easy to create and build. And yeah the animal villagers are cute and all, but I find this game hard to enjoy as a college age kid. HOWEVER, I must admit, when I was 10 or so, when I was obsessed with my DS Lite, I would have loved this game. But not at this age. I just personally dont enjoy this game, but it seems like it's great for little kids.

Does not actually come with amiibo card
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I really enjoy the game and would recommend purchasing it, I paid for a game that says it comes with an amiibo card. The game did not come with an amiibo card. Would have bought it elsewhere if I knew. Best buy should fix their listing.

Great game, one minor issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game itself is great. It's a little slow to start out, but that's okay. It's supposed to come with an amiibo card, but only had a safety guide included. Unfortunate as they are out of stock almost everywhere and should have been included.
