    This was one of my favorite games when it first came out. Saw they had it for the DS and got it for my son. He loves it. Controls take some getting used to but not a deal breaker.

    Then you will probably enjoy this game if you have not played it already. Trouble with a re-release, if you have already beat it and don't have the desire to do it again, then not worth spending the money on.

    One thing that becomes an issue over time is the longevity of the great gaming titles. Luckily backwards compatibility is there to save games in the short term. Nintendo thoughtfully re-released Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on the 3DS and retained all of the great aspects from the original titles.
