I did not like having to download a separate app to use this bulb. I would prefer one that works directly with Alexa. I purchased for my mom who is technologically challenged and got it all set up thinking it would make it easy to turn lights on and off before entering a dark room or without getting up since it’s hard for her to walk but it quit working and i live far away so I haven’t been able to fix it for her.

It worked well with my Alexa. It paired differently then my other Sengled light bulbs did. You cant pair it through the Sengled app nor can you control the functionality of it there such a dimming, turning it on/off, changing color, etc which a Best Buy rep told me in person you can do though both the Alexa and Sengled app.

Hard to connect its work just with Alexa didn’t work for me I returned

Not sure how I feel about this one. Having syncing issues as of now. Haven’t been able to use it to its full potential.

Tricky to get working, I have given it a few tries. Don’t want to leave a negative review, hopefully when I get it to work.. itll be great!

2 of the bulbs are dull. Not bright at all. Funny others are fine. But obviously 2 are junk. What do you expect. Know better for next time

They work as they should the reason for the bad rating they disconnect from the Alexa all the time.

The bulb w out DL not pair with my echo dot so I had to return for exchange. I hope the next one works.

Not worth it. coz the Bluetooth is not reliable at all. better choose for any other brand or else buy one with hub.. won't recommend.

This was free with a purchase. I gave it to my Dad. I don’t think he ever used it but it seems like a good concept

When it works it’s good but will not stay connected to my network. Had to remove.

It is cheaper than the hue brand bulbs, but for reason. It doesn’t sink up as well.

Works well, when it works at all. Very inconsistent and connectivity is spotty.

Okay, so I got this for free with purchase of NY Echo dot and I was so excited to see how it works. I finally went ahead and set it up and after an unsuccessful hour of trying everything to pair the device it finally connected. What sucks now is that five mins didn’t even pass and the device is not unresponsive. I’ve seen higher quality bulbs and I would definitely pass on this if your looking for a bulb with longevity.

It doesn’t connect correctly. It connected the first time but it just stop connected to Alexa.

Can’t get it set up at all Sengled - Smart Bluetooth MESH LED Soft White A19 Bulb - Soft White

I only bought like 17 of the sengled bulbs for my home. Went through the house putting them all in. Got my Alexa & wifi passwords ready. Downloaded the app. Turned the first light on in the bedroom. It started blinking as it is supposed to. Then poof. Exploded. On my face and bed that sits under the light. Just a standard light fixture a builder would put in a house that was just built in 2018. Not an old house with faulty wiring. Not a ceiling fan. Not a lamp that could surge. Those are all reasons sengled gave me on why that happened. When none of those were the reasons. They said I must of CUT THE LIGHT ON TOO FAST. They can blow an element if you cut it on too fast. Any smart light or even just the led light can blow if you cut them on too fast. I asked exactly how do you flick a light switch on too fast? I'm completely ignorant that was something that can happen. Then we were magically disconnected. All I can say is, if you buy them, wear your safety glasses when you walking around your house turning lights on all fast and careless.

It works. Usually does not keep the same color chosen when turned back on.
