However it is only compatible for use with just Alexa devices. A great feature is if you tell Alexa to dim the light, and later say to turn it off, when it is turned back on by Alexa command, it remembers that is was at the dimmed light setting.

Nice to be able to just tell the echo to turn on or off. Plus I can set up routines while away and make it look like someone is home.

Great Alternative to a smart plug for lamps
