However it will disconnect sometimes and it’s hRd to reconnect to Alexa. I have figured it out how to reset it by turning it off 5 times in a row. But Alexa still has hard time finding it after. I don’t know what causes it to disconnect. But it has happened 3 times. Somehow. I always get them to reconnect after a trying effort. I do recommend. But with patience.

We have lights in every room and have coupled them with our Ring cameras to monitor the house while we are away. We were in Florida for ten days in September and I could turn them on and off as well as change colors from my phone to give the impression the house was occupied.

The boys are 8 and 10, and they love this light. They love how they can change the color and the brightness of the light. I love that I can check my Alexa app and see if they left their light on when we are out of the house and if they did, I can turn it off in the app. I can monitor energy usage in the app as well. It works great with our Alexa devices. However, this brand (I have another same brand light bulb) loses connection often and I have to sync it again. To do this I have to turn the light switch off and on 3 times for a certain amount of seconds between each time. Its annoying for sure. I will probably not buy this again and go with a different option and shop around until I find a smart bulb that doesn't lose connection.
