Alexa, make Sengled work with other smart systems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this bulb as a promo from a purchase, so as a freebee LED Bulb it works fine and shines like many other LED bulbs in the market space, nothing special. Its smarts is suppose to be the standout, so I played with those features as a lark. Unfortunately it really is designed to work with the Amazon ecosystem natively, which I'm not in, so I came away disappointed. Thankfully it can be used sans the smart features, but it is then comparatively overpriced when stacked against regular LEDS that are sold in 2 packs for roughly the same cost. If you have Echo\Alexa then it may be worth you consideration, if you don't keep looking

Very disappointed

Setup was easy, and it worked good for a day, then stopped responding to Amazon Alexa. I went through the reset process several times before it would reconnect. Again it worked great, until I inadvertently turned off the lamp it was in. Again, unresponsive. I live in an older neighborhood, with frequent power disruptions. This bulb disconnects when power is lost. I contacted Sengled via "contact us" on their website, and 4 days later they still haven't responded. I now understand why Best Buy gives them away, I'm going to throw mine away! (BTW, I work in the computer field, and have done allot of work with networks, etc)
