    You will need the hub or a hub with these, they work great, amazing range of colors and dimmability, hub is small and inconspicuous.

    These bulbs aren't a premium pruduct like Hue or Lifx. That being said, I used these to replace my lifx bulbs, because they are a full 2 seconds faster to respond to automations sent over a smartthings hub. These were a royal pain to pair, just like the lifx. No issues since, however. Phillips Hue are still the kings of smartbulbs.
