First, setting up these bulbs with the hub was simple. Out of the box you simply plug the hub into your router with the included cable and then connect it to power. Power can be connected to a wall outlet or USB. The hub is already synced with the included bulbs. I decided to place two of the bulbs in our living room and one in the master bedroom lamp. The installation instructions are brief, but simple to follow. You then will need to download the Element Home app. While this app is extremely light in features, it has everything needed to set up your smart bulbs and control them from anywhere. I named each bulb "couch", "fireplace" and "bedroom" for easy identification. I noticed that when I first tested each bulb, I turned on "fireplace" and the bedroom light turned on. As the bulbs are not numbered it was simply trial and error to determine which bulb was which. After swapping the "fireplace" and "bedroom" bulbs, they all worked perfectly. We have an Echo Dot so I used the Alexa app to enable the smart home skill for the Sengled hub. Along with each bulb's individual name I also made a name for "all lights" and included each bulb in the group. This allows me to enter the house and ask Alexa to turn on all lights at once. As far as the Element Home app, you can track energy usage/savings over time per bulb, individually turn on/off each bulb or all of them at once. You can set schedules for each bulb so that they can be turned on/off when you set them to. For example, if you go on vacation, you could set the living room bulbs to turn on at sunset and off at midnight. The app also has a "wake up" feature. You simply set the start time, for example, 5:00a. At 5:00a the bulb will turn on at 1% and gradually increase to 50% brightness to mimic natural sunrise. This feature isn't useful to me as I have a set work schedule but my wife does not. Some mornings she has to get up at 4:00a and others 7:00a. You can also (through the app and Alexa/other voice assistant set each bulbs brightness level. For example, "Alexa, turn bedroom bulb on at 5%". An issue that I found is after a power outage. We recently had a storm that knocked out power. After power returned, both the app and Alexa could no longer operate the bulbs. There is a reset button on the hub, however, holding it for 8 seconds as the instructions state didn't reset everything. I had to go into the Element Home app and delete everything and start from the beginning as though it was new out of the box again. This is frustrating as I feel it should be able to pick back up from its last state. Something to note is that this is the "Classic" kit. This is the warm color range of bulbs. They a very warm. Their color range is to the Edison end of the spectrum. They are very yellow. Other Sengled kits allow you to pick the color temperature and change it from warm to daytime. Keep that in mind when selecting smart bulbs. Overall I would recommend them, just know that a power outage means starting over completely from scratch and these are very warm in color.

These work great with my Alexa. Created some groups so I can turn rooms on individually by name or whole areas such as downstairs, upstairs, etc.. Put off nice lighting. I enjoy them at the end of the night when I get in bed and forget to turn lights off I can do it from there with a command.

I think the title is self explanatory. I would rate this a zero-star if I could. The only easy about this is screwing in the bulbs and downloading the app. Anything beyond that is problematic. From it taking forever to be detectable by the app, being able to maintain communication with the bulbs, and the response times when you are able to actually connect to the bulbs. This is not my smart plug, smart hub, smart bulb, smart anything - but hands down, this is the dumbest piece of technology I have come across. I am super disappointed.

Was a simple set up but a week after the initial setup a bulb disconnected from the hub. I tried several times to reconnect the bulb with zero success. At least one is working.

I purchased this set at a great price to replace my get wink system that has become to unstable with no support. I ready had a few sengled bulbs. This is a great addition and look so good and easily controllable.... Great! Great! Great! Wi buy a other set

I purchased this product as a test run. I have the Philip's Hue (love it) but the Sengled starter pack is just as good for half the price. The app is easy to navigate as well. I just ordered the color bulb to place in my lamp so I'm looking forward to testing that out.

I was amaze how I could set up the light to my phone. Identify location for each and turn on and off from my phone. You can also set timer ⏲ for it the turnoff or on. Great purchase. I have it in every room except the hallway and the kitchen.

I love concept of this item, but the app to control the bulbs is SLOW and needs to updated. The bulbs are kind of expensive but for what they do its worth it. They just need to fix the app that controls everything.

great product.. i have bulbs in every part of the apartment except the kitchen due to a light bulb the apartment complex replaces. love the app that works even when not home as well or in bed and dont want to get up.

Received as part of a echo bundle. I don't think it is the top of the line but it will do the trick. In a nutshell it was one of the deals of the day. It was basically thrown in with the echo purchased. It was a great deal and opportunity to modernize my home.

We are expecting a bouncing baby boy and this has really helped my high risk pregnant wife when dealing with just removing a few minor things like having to walk across the house to turn off a light to prevent her from having to be as mobile when she should not be.

I tried these based on Rex’s and reviews but took them back for the C by GE’s that is already started integrating “smart” home stuff with. I’m sure these are preferred by others, just not me. Nothing wrong with them, so can’t leave a poor review.

Easy to set up. Every time there’s a power glitch the lights turn on. After a short power outage I had to reinstall one of the bulbs. Not sure I would buy if it hadn’t been on sale.

Product came quick. Hard part was setting up the light bulbs. Took almost a week back and forth trying to get it to synch. Finally learned by accident there was a new app that replaced the one I got last year. Then it works fine.

I purchased this with an echo dot. It is much cheaper when bestbuy or amazon huddle the speaker and smart bulb together. The light bulb also works in Europe (230 voltage) in case you want to buy them in the US and use them elsewhere.

Originally bought 2 individual bulbs to test out and they worked out great so bought this pack for the bulbs only. For anyone buying these to add to another hub, you will need to reset them since they are paired with the sengled hub by default.

Its a great starter kit with 3 smart bulbs that I bought for the deal with EchoDot. Took a while setting this up with my ATT router. One of the things you need to be aware of is that it connects only on the 2.4 Ghz band and not on the 5 GHz ,

I would've love to keep it but I wanted to have as little a possible with connections. I returned since I didnt want anything else connected to my router and sitting on my desk. I would recommend due to slight name recognition for smart device for cost.

I really like these lights. They were great from any of my echo or Alexa activated devices. I can turn them on or off from any room. I only wish they could go brighter than what they do, but other that I really do like them and would buy them again

Have performed flawlessly. Previous IOT bulbs and devices had to be set up again from time to time. No such issue with these bulbs. The Dimming range is not as wide as I would like and the color a bit too yellow, but great for the price.
