Need hub for more options

But if you want it to change colors multicolors more bells and whistle‘s you definitely need the hub. That’s why I choose LIFX.

The hub and two light bulbs were decently priced so I bought them. The hub worked for like 2 minutes and then it said it was disconnected and no matter what we did it wouldn't reconnect. Tried everything it recommended on the web site and even contacted support to try and get the issue cleared up. They were of little help. Save yourself some time and heartache and get another brand with an easier setup.

Incredibly unreliable

I've had three of these LED strips cease to function within 60 days of purchase. The warranty support from the MFG is nonexistent.
