Keep power to the bulb

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does exactly what it is supposed to do, turns on and off using either Alexa (or related app) and it's own app. My wife's Alexa app showed it had a problem connecting to the light - she had turned off the lamp physically using the 'lamp switch' not a problem with the bulb. Obviously it requires power to the bulb to be left on. For this reason, we have better luck with the smart switches as they can be turned off either by an app or manually at the switch itself.
