They won't work all the time. Even the sengled app shows it lost all the connection. When it is working it is seamless. I have 4 bulbs and grouped them and connected to alexa, but like I said when it won't work all the time.

Frustrating, I'll give it another go this weekend.

The bulbs were great at first and then became unresponsive and I had to keep resetting them. These were also hard to link to Alexa because I had to download an extra app and could not do it directly.

The light turns on fine with a switch. Unfortunately, you need to be sure to have all the correct devices. It will not work with anything higher than a 2.4G router and it has to be specific types of switches to connect.

This bulb was cheap and it seemed like an easy way to use Alexa to control one of the lights in the house. The huge problem is that it wanted the password to my home network. The app has a checkbox to save the password for future reference in case I added another device from that company but there was no way to turn off the checkbox. I was concerned that they were going to save that in their remote database and expose me to a hack. I've got an Apple network connected to a DSL so I can't setup a guest network which would have been less concerning. I didn't give them my password so I just use it as a lightbulb.

Second negative review. We had exactly the same issue with this bulb as the plug adapter. After about six months, it stopped pairing with the app or Alexa. Bummer.

These are some of the worst lights I have ever seen! They are not bright and the soft white gives off a very Sunday feeling!

The bulb seems to work, but we will never know. You have to install a Sengled App to configure the bulb to work with an Echo Dot. We tried their app on both an iPad and an Android phone and it doesn't work correctly on either device. Their app hangs during the process of configuring the bulb to work on our network - as a result the bulb useless! I'm an experienced electronics engineer and I can't get it to work. I've just read several reviews from others who have the same problem. If you want a smart bulb - look for a different product!!

I love my smart devices with the exception of these. I have Wyze, Phillips Hue and Phillips Wiz and love them but the Sengled are too basic for me.

this bulb did not work flashes 3 times and still will not connect I have several of these and not a problem before but let's just say will not be buying these again maybe that's why they were on clearance let's just say I am out the money paid sue to I had it shipped I live to faraway to shop there except for online never again tho and yes I do know how to connect even followed the directions came with the bulb

I would not recommend this product. This is just a basic wifi enabled bulb. No additional feature than just ON and OFF. I would not invest in this product.

I could never get it to work. So I gave to my son. Don't know if he got it to work.

Good concept - however, the internet connection rests every time you turn the switch on / off. Thw whole set-up process is not easy as well.

Read reviews before purchasing this led lightbulb. We bought this one and a white one from the same manufacturer. The white one connected easily on the first try. Like other reviewers we tried being 5 ft from our router, multiple lights, inputting the wifi password over and over, all to no avail. Tried using the app on two different phones. One phone didn't even ask for the wifi password. It seems to us that this led light bulb only works with very specific hardware all around.

I am disappointed with these bulbs. I could not get them to work. I don’t find them to be as user-friendly as the Phillips brand.
