Easy to use bulb was easy to set up with app and works easily with my Alexa

I bought this to use with an Amazon Dot and it connected easily after after downloading their app and then letting Alexa learn this new skill. The colors I mainly stick to red and it even allows crimson as a voice command. I like keeping it in soft white at about 50% but for movies I'll change to the crimson and it's a great mood setter and lets the TV take over. I love this bulb and it was a lot cheaper than the Phillips

It is a great smart lightbulb, has all the colors of the rainbow and connects with my Alexa. The hardest part of the set up. The app had a hard time connecting to the wifi, nothing was wrong on my end. It took a few times of trying but it was worth it. I perfer to have my light more on the yellow spectrum when I satrted using it, it hurts my eyes less as it is a LED light.

I like these lightbulbs. They are different from mesh ones though and take a few more steps to start using. You need to download the app to connect and set up the lightbulbs. Then, you can connect them to your Alexa devices. The app is user friendly and I liked being able to put these lights on timers.

I'm just starting to turn my place into a smart home and wondering why I haven't started earlier. I've hooked the lights with Alexa and turning on lights on in the room I'm going into is a good send, no more tripping on things in the dark. They are actually bright without the excess electricity cost.

I set this bulb through the Sengled app and had no issues connecting to wifi/phone. I also connected it to Google Home_Google Home app and control it from the Goigle Home app. That way I can use either my phone or Google Home to control the light. Eg. When I pull up to the house I can turn it on from outside the home using my phone. Plus the light blue on somedays...or red on others is a plus.

Really easy to use with Alexa. You can increase or decrease the brightness.

This sengled smart bulb is very great. It's easy to use all you have to do is to download the app and the next thing is just like ABC. It's dimmable and you can use it to any light fixture you have like desk lamp, floor lamp, ceiling fan light etc. After downloading the app you can use to turn it on and off using your cellphone or your google assistant device.

I had quite a bit of trouble setting this bulb up. The app (make sure you download Segled Home, not any of the other Sengled apps) is fine and user friendly, and my phone found the bulb and connected to it's wifi easily. The problem was connecting the bulb to my home network. A couple of things that I learned through trial and error. First, the app makes it's clear this bulb can only connect to a 2.4 GHz network. Which is fine, just be aware. But the problem I kept running into was the password to get onto my home network. It kept telling me my password was wrong when I knew it wasn't. I finally changed my password encryption from WPA-2 to WPA, and that solved it. I did not try TKIP, that was my next option. So if you run into problems installing it, try changing the password encryption type. Once I got that sorted out, it was fine. The app is perfectly fine, and Alexa/Google Assistant integrated the bulb easily. I will say, I contacted Sengled customer service and they were very helpful. I had it set up to return to them before I tried changing the settings. They were very easy to deal with.

Love these bulbs, for the most part I have no issue getting them paired up and added to the Alexa ecosystem. Occasionally though one wants to be a royal pain and it takes repeated tries to properly pair and get connected. After that, the lights have performed as I would want. No after pairing issues. We have been using Sengled throughout the house because we've been getting them at a good price and for the most part have gotten a handle on their setup. Also helps from having to install a bunch of different brand apps to set their bulbs. Amazon/Best Buy also like to includes these as bonus items for smart home purchases, so again, sticking with one brand makes everything easier. Bonus tip - If you have ceiling fans, you can purchase adapters that will all these to be used. Just need to make sure the sconce/socket will allow the bulb to stick out an extra inch/inch and a half. Easy way to turn a ceiling fan into a "smart" light.
