The sound quality is average, but the thing that is the most deceiving is the noise canceling option, I do not notice a difference between it behind on or off.

Not worth buying even for $100. I can clearly hear all sounds when using the noise cancelling mode. When that's turned off it sounds like all sounds are amplified. Microphone quality isn't great. No bass sound. The headphone pads are stiff and uncomfortable, and the head strap applied so much pressure that you can get a headache. Buttons are hard to find when wearing. If i could return I would, but didn't realize holiday returns passed mid-month instead of the Jan 31.

Awsome. Over the headphones. It does have small ear cups so if you have big ears, you can try to adjust them in the cup. The ear cup itself is super soft. Volume and bass can be adjusted on the app.

I couldn't tell when ANC was even on. It actually seemed more pronounced when it said it was on. I tried to use these in the office and the co-worker's voice was very clear. You could hear papers shuffling. Either the ACN didn't work on this set or it was tuned improperly at the factory. I went on ahead and just bought the Bose ANC 700 and these actually work.

Headphones come in a few flavors: Over-the-Ear versus In-Ear, wired versus wireless, noise cancelling technology or not, and budget breaking versus affordable. I believe that Sennheiser outdid themselves with the Sennheiser HD 450BT headphones when considering the categories these headphones fall into. The white, wireless headphones. The white color is very sleek. The headphones present well. And of course, the wireless aspect of headphones is almost a most at this point in life. Being wireless, these headphones require to be charged and charging is with a USB-C cable. An awesome aspect to these headphones is the battery life. I believe I noticed them claim 30-hours of use, and I would agree they were able to sustain that, if not more. These headphones have an awesome feature that let me know when I was between 6-12hours of use left, lower than 6hours of use, and then at 2hours of use. Having a voice notification for this, let me know easily when charging would need to occur! These headphones also included the cord to allow for wired connection, a fabulous plus. The wireless aspect is quite easy to connect with Bluetooth. Most importantly in my opinion, these headphones can connect to two devices at once. It frustrates me when I can only connect to one device, so this, was lovely. I can be connected to a computer or tablet while also to my phone. The transition between the devices is quite smooth also, with only quick delay between playing if one comes on while the other is already going. These headphones do not auto-pause video play if the other device takes over (but no longer plays the audio). The headphones also do not auto-pause with removal of the headphones. Over-the-Ear. These headphones are quite comfortable for over-the-ear headphones. If these headphones are properly adjusted to the wearers head, they are comfortable for hours of wear. They do have smaller earpieces than other headphones I have used, so the adjustment of the headband needed to be more dialed in so that my ear fit properly. I would say the comfortability is surprising as far as width also. I always let my wife try on headphones also (she has a wider head and a TON of hair compared to myself) and she often complains that headphones (or Disney ears for instance) squeeze her head too tightly. She said these headphones are comfortable. The padding around the ear itself is comfortable and I can lay on my side with the headphones without it causing great pain as others have in the past. One caveat that causes some discomfort for myself, is that I often wear headphones with one earpiece slightly off, so that I can communicate with my wife still; this is an uncomfortable option for these headphones. With over-the-ear headphones come lots of button options that may be integrated. There is a Quick Guide included in the box that explains the use of the various buttons. The Quick Guide is easy to follow and the utility of the various buttons was impressive. Through the various buttons allows power on/off, voice activation, noise cancellation, pairing, music function, call function, and volume adjustment. Noise cancelling. The noise cancelling ability of these headphones works decently. Not the most impressive noise cancellation I have witnessed but it is effective and at standard. There is a button to toggle between noise cancellation or not, there is no high or low setting as is often available. Phone calls while connected. This was one aspect that I was not entirely sold on, using these for phone calls. The sound of clarity in the call is great, and the person on the other line was able to hear my voice clearly without any issue. The noise cancellation feature turns off during calls (as what happens with most noise canceling headphones) but the issue here was that with the feature off I felt that it seemed I was in a fishbowl. My own voice was amplified more than I am accustomed to and I did not completely enjoy the phone feature; however, like I said – it was a clear call none-the-less even taking into account my silly caveats. These are not budget breaking. An aspect of this type of headphone is they often come with a heavy price tag. These have a relatively affordable price tag, compared to the performance. I would say absolutely worth the money, if mid-level pricing is what you are looking to spend. My random complaint is the caring case for these headphones. The case is a soft case. It seems silly, but when you make an investment in headphones, I prefer a hard case to protect the investment if stored away in a bag, backpack, or the home. Overall, these are quite the pair of wireless noise cancelling over-the-ear headphones. This is a competitive category of headphones, and I would say these are absolutely a contender.

The Sennheiser name has been around for as long as I can remember and it's a name that's synonymous with quality. This is my first pair of their headphones. The sound quality is some of the best I've heard in a pair of headphones like this. One of the most important aspects of a pair of good headphones is that they deliver good sound quality. These phones definitely deliver on this point. The first thing you will probably notice is the bass response. It sounds deep and rich and the sound pressure level was truly noticeable. They have a very airy, spacious quality to them and I really enjoy listening to them. They have plenty of volume headroom and for once I was able to listen at a volume I like without wishing they would go louder. I find most noise canceling phones sound much better with this feature turned off and never enabled. These are no exception. Maybe I've never found the need for this feature, but they always seem to introduce some strange sounding elements, and take away the cleanliness. To be fair, I didn't really try very hard with this feature but they sound so good I didn't want to explore it for longer than a few minutes. The look is actually quite simple and plain. Not really what I expected but not a bad thing. They're lighter than similar headphones I've used which should translate to a more comfortable fit, and looking at them I would have bet they were very comfortable, however after about an hour I found them to start hurting my ears. This is not uncommon for full headphones but it was a bit disappointing. The ear cups have a nice soft pseudo-leather covering and the foam underneath is nice and cushy so I attribute the discomfort I experience to the firmness of the spring headband. In an effort to ensure headphones stay in place these days I think this is a common trait, especially with more and more people wearing headphones for a variety of workouts. It's truly a fine line for head phone manufactures to walk and it's very subjective because everybody has a different shaped noggin. The button layout is not especially intuitive and on top of that they aren't labeled. The volume rocker switch is easy to feel and the transport switch is too. I like the transport switch, you push it forward for the next track, push it backward for previous track and press it for play/pause. The two small mysterious buttons, one at the front and one at the back would really benefit from some type of label. Surprisingly, one of them is the power button, which also doubles as the noise canceling button. The other turns on or off the voice assistant. You can choose your favorite one. A small and often overlooked feature is the ability to fold them down to a relatively small size for traveling. In fact they even come with a carrying zippered pouch. Nothing fancy, just a nice nylon case. Perfect for a carry-on, a backpack, etc.. They come with a USB charging cable and an 1/8” phone cable. Battery life seems good and even after listening for a couple hours I was still at over 90% battery life. I really love the sound of these phones and they will be one of the pairs I grab for first. I wish they were a bit more comfortable, but they are certainly fine for shorter periods of time. The controls are “ok”, nothing ground breaking here, but in all fairness, you really don't need to touch them very much, so not a big issue. There is a companion app available for download and I didn't need it to pair the headphones. It does offer some EQ abilities and you can save as many as you want but there were only two pre-defined settings included. It's not necessary to use the app and it's really pretty basic so you may not find a need to anyway. Sennheiser did put the majority of their efforts into the great sound. And at the end of the day, isn't that the bottom line anyway?

Sennheiser - HD 450BT These active noise cancelling bluetooth headphones look classy and are super light. Sennheiser sound quality is superb as usual. The ear padding is super soft and comfortable, however the ear opening is slightly narrow. I don’t recommend it for people with bigger ears, sorry Mickey Mouse. They are perfect for my wife with smaller ears. They do make my ear feel warm after wearing them for a while, but not uncomfortable. The battery life is amazing, up to 30 hrs. I haven’t drained the battery in a full day. A 3.5mm jack is included, “IF” you ever run out of battery. The sound quality on these are amazing. Sound is crystal clear and the depth of audio sound immersive, even at max volume. The bass is balanced but not as deep and boomy as some other higher priced brands. ANC is moderate, it cancels lower tones well, however higher pitched noises come through. BUT, I don’t mind, because I feel that this works well for being able to cancel droning noises while allowing you to still be able to hear some of the surrounding noises. Active noise cancelling control does not have audio confirmation, so you might have to push the button once or twice to tell the difference. All the controls are right side, it does take some practice to get used to the clutter of controls. It also comes with a soft carry pouch that has a mesh pocket for the 3.5mm cable and the USB cable. These headphones seem very durable so a soft pouch works fine. It does not have an auto off feature when the headphones are folded, so that was the only time I drained the battery. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is easy to pair. Pros: Classy Looks Light and Comfortable Long Battery Life Sennheiser Sound Quality Included 3.5mm jack Cons: Moderate ANC Small Ear Opening No Audible ANC Alert All controls are on the right side Overall these are great mid level headphones. Better if you find them on sale. My wife rocks them because they are light and comfortable and she doesn’t have to hear me talk.
