Have A Better True Wireless Earbud? Let Me Know.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review will be somewhat different as I’ll start by discussing the Master & Dynamics MW07 True Wireless (TW) Earbuds. Let me say that I own three (3) pair of MD Headsets in over ear, on ear and wireless designs. So it goes without saying I’m a fan of MD listening head gear. I did extensive A/B listening B4 writing this review. I really wanted to like the Master & Dynamics MW07 True Wireless Earbuds. They are the best looking TW earbuds on the market hands down. I chose the Steel Blue. IMO the Sennheiser Momentum’s pale by comparison. The packaging of the MD MW07’s; IMO, looks better than that of the Sennheiser Momentum’s. The charging case of the MD MW07’s; in polished stainless steel, is by far the most elegant I’ve ever seen. However, it is a fingerprint magnet and not resistant to scratches. The case will probably look terrible after 6 months of use. The designers should have given it a brushed aluminum finish. The Sennheiser Momentum’s case with its tweed cloth covering (and might I add magnetic charging cradle for the buds) is a much better bargain. The MD MW07’s are extremely comfortable to wear as are the Sennheiser Momentum’s. However, I give the edge to the MD MW07’s. The MD MW07’s use tactile buttons to control all features as opposed to touch sensitive controls found on the Sennheiser Momentum’s. The use of tactile buttons makes the learning curve of the MD MW07’s much easier. Battery life and secondary charges for the most part is a toss-up. You’re talking a difference of 12hrs vs 14hrs. Who wears a set of buds beyond 3.5hr let alone 12 or 14 hours? Certainly not me. Although, I can’t personally attest to call quality the reviews I’ve read and listened to on YouTube suggest that the Sennheiser Momentum’s perform much better in noisy environments. So, having said all the above what made me decide upon the Sennheiser Momentum's over the MD MW07’s? Quite simply Audio Playback Quality for Music. The MD MW07’s sound great but to my taste they are a little too much in your face. The sound stage is loud and compact. The Sennheiser Momentum’s were more open producing a wider sound stage for a more concert affect versus the small cabaret sound of the MD MW07’s. Low-end on the Sennheiser Momentum was tight but still allowed picking of other instruments and their placement. I would speculate that I could enjoy my music for a longer period of time with the Sennheiser Momentum’s versus the MD MW07’s. Ear fatigue is not always about having something stuck in your ear. FYI, I found that I could actually reproduce the sound of the MD MW07’s in the Sennheiser Momentum’s using the downloaded app which includes a fantastic equalization feature. The app also includes other useful features. One in particular being able to allow outside noise in for conversation and safety without removing the buds. BTW the MD MW07’s have no offering for an app which means they are not customizable. Bottom-line, IMO is that if you like your music to sound great and a little in your face then the Master & Dynamic MW07’s are the way to go. On the other hand if you prefer a little more refinement, wider sound stage and an app to tweak things to your liking then the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless buds IMO are the ones to choose over the MD MW07’s and other competing wireless earbuds. At least for now…as it wasn’t too long ago (before the arrival of the Sennheiser Momentum’s) that the MD MW07’s were top dog.

Great wireless earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was lukewarm on the idea of wireless. I worried they would fall out when I work out at the gym. But they were great. I fit them with the right earbuds (the package comes with four different sizes) and did my workout and at some point I stopped thinking about them. I even stopped thinking about my workout and ended up walking 10 extra minutes on the treadmill. When I listen to well-recorded semi acoustic music by Van Morrison or Lucinda Williams, and Motown and Jazz, these earbuds created tremendously big sound. I could close my eyes and feel like I was in a room with a large stereo and speakers. I kid you not. Really terrific separation and stage presence. From the highs of the hi-hat and cymbals to the deep bass, these earbuds delivered everything with great authority. Definition was good and handled in a way that listening fatigue was not a problem.

Best wireless earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are absolutely phenomenal. I own audio equipment from Beats, Bose, Apple, Sonos, Bowers and Wilkins, Yamaha, you name it. I'm a musician and serious audiophile. I tried these because I own a pair of wired Sennheiser studio monitoring headphones but they're big and bulky so they don't travel well. I've never found anything that compares in terms of sound quality... until now. The sound produced by these earbuds is unmatched by anything on the consumer market. Apple and Bose have some serious catching up to do. They were a bit uncomfortable for me with the factory rubber covers so I bought some memory foam covers at an airport a few months back and now I wear them for hours with no issues. They can be a little tricky to get positioned properly and for some reason they drain the battery on the case and earbuds even after you turn them off, but I'd still give 10 stars if I could based on the sound reproduction alone. I know there are earbuds on the market with better battery life and a lower price point, but they can't compare to the sound production of these little goliaths. Any reviewer that says the sound quality is comparable to other earbuds on the market needs to see an otolaryngologist. I've owned these for about six months and I just gave my daughter my Bose over ear headphones because they've been collecting dust since the day I bought these. I did extensive research prior to purchasing these and tried multiple other earbuds and over ear headphones before coming to my decision. If your primary concern is getting the highest possible sound quality available you should look no further than the Momentum. Deep bass with beautiful highs and awe inspiring mid range with no audio distortion of any kind, absolutely amazing!

I Love These Wireless Earbuds!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm pretty much a love-hate person when it comes to reviews. I don't bother if I'm just feeling mediocre. I either love you or hate you and I LOVED these! Here's what you need to know: These sound A-MAZ-ING. BASS for DAYS! They are great for travel and for listening to around your home. You could wear them to work and they would be totally hidden if you have longer hair! CAN YOU SAY WORK TUNES? YASSS You'd be ok walking on the treadmill or spinning with these. For vigorous running I might leave these at home. If you take calls these are also awesome for that. Great mics even in a noisy situation. They last for about 4 hours and then the case will charge them twice. I also love the case because its not to small and not too big. It's just right! Convenient and light while still being able to easily be found in my bag. They are well designed and stylish. I adore the look of them in my ears. Get these if you expect awesomeness and love a premium brand.

Worth the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things are almost perfect !!! I give them a 9.9 I walked around the whole lower level and upper level of my gym at la fitness and never lost connection and my phone was up near the front. I had a few split second dropouts or disconnects while biking but nothing too bad and my phone was in my shorts, I bought a phone mount and it never has any issues now. The sound is amazing too. The comfort is nice, they are very light and they stay in your ear very good. Bass is really good.

Amazing Set!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.-Audio: 10/10 -Connectivity: 8/10 -Comfort: 8/10 -Quality: 8/10 -Features: 8/10 -Design: 10/10 -Battery Life: 7/10 I pre-ordered these from Sennheiser as soon as I found out Sennheiser was coming out with their version of True Wireless... Coming from Bose's SoundSport Wireless (not the free wireless) earbud I have to see these are by far the best headphones on the market... In the pros and cons section I detailed certain key areas I'd think people would consider when purchasing any set of headphones or earbuds... The sound quality is currently unmatched but we can't only focus on that. Comfort becomes an issue after excessive use (obviously), it doesn't matter which silicon tips you use, your primary concern is keeping them in. These are NOT a one size fits all... I'm not referring to the tips it's mainly the overall unit where the driver sits. I recommended these to a friend and they had a hard time securing them in. The bottom wouldn't fit the Concha and barely would let the ear bud tips go into the ear canal. In other words the overall size of the device was too big, they ended up going with Apple's AirPods since most aftermarket earbuds adopts similar design cues. Quality Design/Structure is minimalist, modern and slick. I love the brush aluminum style and the dark grey (almost black) color. I would prefer more color options but the dark tone and clean bling style really sets the unit off. Now, the charging case lacks a lot of quality... it feels abnormally lights for it's size and it's rather big. The cloth style design looks cool and sleek at first but can get dirty after a lot of use. brush aluminum style or black leather (for the price you're paying) would of been better in my opinion. Also, the flip hinge is extremely weak, at first glance I said to myself, "This is going to be the part that breaks first"... sure enough it's been cracking after a while. I've only had these for about 5 months. I let Sennheiser know and they replaced the case quickly. (Another thing, EXCEPTIONAL customer service over at Sennheiser!) Connectivity was an issue at first but eventually everything panned out with the app. At times you lose control when you take them off the music keeps playing when when you put them on it stops as if it has it's functions reversed. Crackling noise occurs when powerful magnets are near, I work in a County/State facility so metal detectors often distort the sounds, so, keep in mind to take these off in airports and such. The features are ok, but there is a lot of input lag with volume control and the simple pause and play functions. Volume control also isn't accurate, when you hit volume up or down it goes up as if you tapped it twice instead of one. When you get a call the transparent noise cancellation option kicks in and could get rather annoying between calls and your music and could be dangerous if you're working out and crossing roads. There should be an option to go full manual with these feature... even if you turn it off in-app it still activates while using Google Assistant/Siri or if there is an incoming call. Battery life is acceptable, could be better comparing to the competition... The case is too large to have such a small battery...and at times your earbuds don't turn off after use and continue to play and run down both the bud's batterys and the cases battery. When everything is fine between the 2 charges and the earbuds you can get a full day of use without charging. The app is a nice touch allowing you to use an equalizer to fine tune your audio... I use my buds with a Note 8 and the OS already comes with it's own equalizer, the app would be an excellent addition for iPhones being that iOS limits it's users of fine tuning sound without using their limited EQ presets (I use to own iPhone(s) for 10 yrs since the 1st Gen 2G iPhone)... if it's not jailbroken it's garbage. :P Con: -Crackle noise through metal detectors (airports, government facilities, etc.) -Charging case is flimsy and big. -Sometimes the earbuds loses control and start playing when you take them off stop playing when you put them on. -At times charging case doesn't shut off earbuds and continues playing (running battery down) -Charging case's hinge is weak and flimsy. -Control's have input lag, delay to respond. -Volume control isn't accurate. -Noise Cancellation (Transparent Hearing) goes on during calls (Google Assistant/Siri) and can be annoying when call ends.

Good sound with some downsides
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the sound of these earbuds and how well they passively blocked sound with the silicone tips. They had great sound, great range, and were comfortable enough for me to wear for long periods of time. The reason I'm giving these a 3 star rating is because despite the things I liked about them, there were some issues that I wasn't willing to accept in such an expensive pair of earbuds. I ended up returning them. Pros * Noise isolation * Sound quality * Range * USB C * Bluetooth 5 * Aptx Low Latency support Cons * I'd sometimes take them out of the case and find that both the earbuds and the case was dead. (I don't think they turn off until you put them in the case, and if the case is dead, maybe they don't turn off and eventually die?) * I had to in effect re-pair them every time I wanted to change which device I was using. I got used to this for the most part, but the most annoying part of it is sometimes I like to just use one earbud, but to pair to a different device you need to touch the sides of both earbuds. * The microphone was adequate but not great. I sometimes got complaints from people that they couldn't hear me well. * The audio pass through feature wasn't great or loud enough, and I don't think I was able to configure how loud the pass through was. * The case for the earbuds is a little big and was uncomfortable to leave in my pocket sometimes. * I don't like how shiny the outsides of the earbuds are. This wasn't a big deal, and I knew about it ahead of time, but I wish they were black.

The Undisputed King of Wireless Earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After owning almost every single low, mid, and high priced set of totally wireless buds, I was finally able to get a chance with these, and the only word is WOW Great fit, Great sound, nice case, good feel in your ears, and they stay put! Fantastic Range, great isolation, and the App has a decent EQ in it..Streaming music is fantastic, and so was any music I played that was on my SD card on my phone. I thought nothing could beat the Master and Dynamic MW07, but there are even better! Yes Expensive, but they feel that way, and if you care about the absolute best sound, dont bother with anything else..Enjoy!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.\This product has signature of two Country's in real sense! China, poor cheap quality of product nothing fancy there! light hallow plastic that you can find in Walmart products, but i don't complain because i understand meaning MADE IN CHINA :-) Now where German craftsmanship come to surface. SOUND, so amazing i really like everything about how those sounds I AM NOT expert or know all about mids high or whatever but i know when i use them my brain is so pleased :-))) Battery life totally enough for my use never use them more than 2-3 hours and they last so much. They are on large side but fit me and agree with people that saying they aren't for those that has small ears! Save your $300
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL;DR: Too expensive for what they offer. Save your money. Details: Nothing stands out that other cheaper truly wireless earbuds don’t offer for much less. 1) Build - The earphones themselves have decent build quality but the capacitive touch surfaces don’t work well. And the cloth covered charging case plastic hinges squeak when opening and closing. The case doesn’t feel rugged at all, for a $300 product. I took one star off for the quality of the case and capacitive surface of the earphones. 2) Sound quality - Bose SoundSport Free and Jabra Elite have comparable sound stage (Bose actually has a wider sound stage). I actually found Sennheiser bass heavy out of the box. I took one star off for a $300 product as it didn’t wow me with its most important characteristic. 3) Functionality - Touch controls work, but it took me a long time getting used to finding the right spot; such issue never arose when working with Apple AirPods. Sennheiser touch controls feel erratic for a $300 product. I took one star off for this. 4) Fit - Admittedly, I have large ears and most earphones, including AirPods don’t fit. Only Bose and Jabra Elite Sport, with its hard foam supplies tips fit my ears very well. However, it’s inexcusable for Sennheiser to not include Comply grade foam tips in all sizes in the box. The included ones are the usual flimsy four sizes of silicon tips. Of course, none of the supplied tips fit me. Jabra’s foam tips came to the rescue. I am aware that Comply tips for $20 will solve my problem. But again, this is a $300 product. I took one more star off here. 5) Connectivity: No issues. Long range. Half a star awarded for nailing the basics in 2019. 6) Microphone: Decent quality when spoken through on a phone call. Most wireless earphones struggle with this because the microphone is too far away from the mouth. The beam forming microphones work fairly well for Sennheiser. I’m awarding half a star for this as well. Overall, my suggestion is to save $300 for another year or two before the next wave of “truer” wireless earphones is born.

These are worth the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these because my AirPods failed me. I was at work and carelessly set one down on top of my ladder and moved my ladder literally ten feet. It obviously fell, but hey AirPods have the find my iPhone function so everything’s fine, right? WRONG! For starters, there is a reason everyone uses google maps over apple maps, because google maps actually works. Now I was able to find where they were eventually, so all I had to do was play the sound from the find my iPhone app, right? WRONG! AGAIN!!!! It would not play the sound no matter what I did. It would “act” like it would for maybe three seconds, then stop. I turned my phone off, turned off Bluetooth, set the case and other AirPod far away, etc, with no success. So I’m short, I have a vendetta against AirPods now for that reason. These do not have any locating feature but, at least it’s not going to not do something that it should. The quality on these is AMAZING. Wayyyyyy better than the AirPods in my opinion. The AirPods do have great sound but these are like Louis Vuitton compared to fruit of the loom. Yes, that big of a difference. Music is a necessity in my life so I listen to it a lot, and I’ve been missing out on half of my songs just because of quality! Others are saying these aren’t loud enough. Honestly, if you had these any louder you are going to mess your ears up. It’s right at that threshold of satisfactory volume and destroying your ear drums, meaning just loud enough, which should not be confused with “good enough”, the volume doesn’t need to be any louder. The transparent mode is pretty impressive. Remember, these are in ear headphones transmitting a sound through a small microphone in your ear. You won’t hear your friend 20 feet away talking to you but, you can definitely listen to music and someone talking to you at the same time. The tap functions do take some learning and memory, but once you’ve got it, you’ve got it. I had a little bit of fear for dropping the cash but, I am undeniably satisfied. Great headphones.

love the small size
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In our family headphones are a big deal. Headphones are part of our daily life as well as one of the top go-to items when we travel. My husband and I use headphones to listen to favorite music and stream movies while we work. Our son with autism uses headphones to help him calm down and tune noises. For years, we’ve looked for small sized headphones to pack, but the trouble is that when we've settled for the smaller headphones the quality of the sound was just not there. After years of looking around for a set of compact headphones with an exceptional sound, we finally came across the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless earbud headphones. These small buds manage to combine advanced technology with uncompromised sound performance. One of the things our son hated for years was the pressure of the headphones against his ears on long haul flights. Well, these certainly fix the problem. Though quite large and hefty for wireless buds, the momentums provide excellent noise cancellation. For the first time in years, our son can sit and listen to his movies for hours totally undisturbed. I’ve got to admit that when I first saw the earbuds, I was pretty skeptical about how good they could be. I was wrong! The sound is impressive. Those little buds manage to deliver superb clarity that I haven’t come across in any other headphones- wireless or wired. The folks at Sennheiser know their wireless buds are among the most expensive in their class, so they made sure to use the top of the line technology in the design. There are so many adjectives Id like to use to describe them, but I will only use a selected few that come to mind like; compact, elegant, and packable! But as a mom, my favorite feature is the transparent hearing. The earbuds can go from soundproof to being able to hear what’s going on around you just by tapping the right ear twice. Mmm, no more excuses starting with 'Mom, I didn't hear you...' What you should know Since the buds come with no buttons switches or labels, you might be slightly puzzled at first how the earbuds work. To start you off here some helpful tips: #download the free app for ioS and Android. It will help control, personalize, update, and configure your headphones. #hold both touchpads for 5 seconds to turn on pairing mode. # tap left earbud once to play and pause music. #hold left bud to control music volume.tap right earbud once to access Google Assistant, Siri or Cortana. #tap right bud to answer phone calls. #the earbuds have four adjustable sizes. It may take a few minutes and trials to get the right fit, but it is worth it. #Check pockets before doing laundry! As I mentioned before these pups are super small and can be forgotten in a pocket. Worth the price? Again, it depends on your needs but our short answer is yes. If you enjoy the crisp sound on headphones and seek quality, these buds are a great investment. At a $300 price tag, they are on the pricier side; but for tech buffs and avid listeners to music, they are the way to go.

Great sound in a small package
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These ear buds couldn't be a better fit. Literally, with 4 sizes of adaptors. Overhyped product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL:DR- overhyped , boring sound , low volume level , bad isolation, don’t believe all the reviews you see online (I too saw them, decided to get them , and returned them after a week) Purchased these about a week ago , I’m very familiar with Sennheiser products and sound , I own a few of they’re headphones and expected a certain level that these just... didn’t really offer. Fit - they do fit pretty good in my ears , isolation isn’t so good and you can hear almost everything that’s going around you , after 2 hours of using them my ear would start to hurt pretty bad. 5/10 Style - I do like them style wise - 9/10 Sound - very mediocre, the Sennheiser clarity is definitely there , other than that? A very boring sound in my personal opinion , treble was bad , bass was non existence and I found myself switching back to a regular pair of EarPods for almost 70% of the songs because I felt the Sennheisers were just... lacking. Easiest way to explain it is basically these earphones will sound pretty nice with 70s/80s/90s songs playing in them with minimal production and mostly just straight up vocals , anything else just sounds... boring. 6/10 The Eq in the app is also terrible , forcing you to make really weird decisions by having the worst UI I’ve seen in a long time. 2/10 The biggest deal breaker for me was the volume level , the highest volume level they have is probably about 50% in almost every other ear buds you’ll try , Volume is VERY LOW - even while making phone calls in a restaurant- most of the time I just found myself asking the other person on the line to speak louder because I couldn’t hear anything. Microphone was ok, not good as the Airpods but definitely not bad. Battery - had no problem on that part - lasted me 4-5 hours every time without charging them. 7/10 Overall? Great brand which I love that came with a very mediocre product, that just feels very “rushed” and not perfected , Decided to return these and grab a pair of airpods 2 instead, Guess I’ll wait for version 2 and see if there are are improvements.

Great Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've experimented with wireless ear buds for several years. Started with Here One, Samsung, Onkyo and Nuheara. Until now, I have been dissatisfied with fit and/or sound. I cannot recommend the Sennheiser enough. The quality of sound is amazing for their size. (Equivalent to my Altec Hi Res headphones). Clean, crisp and excellent range. The fit is excellent. The app took a little time to set-up, but works fine. Never had an EQ for ear buds. Very nice touch to vary the base, midrange and treble.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Surprisingly comfortable as many earphones are very uncomfortable for my ears after wearing for even a short period of time. Amazing sound quality. Love how easy it is to answer calls, switch back to music and I could go on. I'm very happy with the Sennheiser - MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones. I do wish they didn't require the USB-C cable as it's the only device I need for that but small price to pay for a great quality earbuds

If you have the money, buy these now!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own several pairs of high end (audiophile) headphones, including the Shure SE846, Sennheiser HD800, and LCD-3. On top of that, I have Apple AirPods, BeoPlay H6, and have used Beats Powerbeats Pro, as well as several other pairs of in-ear and over-ear headphones. The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless are a step above every fully-wireless-bluetooth earphones I have used. And on top of that, they just sound great compared to my Audiophile headphones. The price may scare some away, but the customization offered through the app truly allows for every user to personalize their listening experience. On top of that, the “Transparent Hearing” option found in the Sennheiser Smart Control App felt so realistic, that I had to take the earphones out of my ears and actually compare my surrounding environment to that of the simulated environment provided by the settings of Sennheiser. If you have the money to spend, then look no further!

Takes Wireless Earbud Technology to New Levels
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I unboxed my Sennheiser earbuds, the first thing I noticed was how sharp they were. The earbud’s silver and black color scheme is clean and crisp, and the case – which doubles as a mobile charging dock – features a fabric-like, slate gray finish with black accents for a truly striking look. That being said, we all know looks aren’t everything so what else did these earbuds have to offer? Unlike many earbuds that have a tinny sound, these earbuds have a nice, round bass to them that adds the depth and body that we all love to hear in our music. It also provides excellent sound when viewing television and movies. I was thoroughly pleased with how well these earbuds translated the audio of some of my favorite movies right into my ear canal. They provided me a nice audio range with no latency, which is key when watching movies. Even while viewing Infinity War, I never had an issue with sound clarity, depth, lag, or stuttering.
