These wireless earbuds deliver sound of true high fidelity. I have not yet used them on my bike or kayak since the weather has been too wintery in the midwest. I appreciate the quality and function so much, that I fear loosing one. They do stay in well and the fear is not a result of the way they fit. It's a good fit and well balanced. The sound and comfort are so good, I would just hate to lose one.

FOR LISTENERS: No other true wireless earbuds comes close. With a pair of memory earbud covers, which I highly recommend, they lock in tight (even during those hard canyon runs) are wonderfully light, keep out ALL outside noise (even better than my noise cancelling Bose headphones), and deliver a fantastically deep and immersive rich sound - bright on top, boom on the bottom. No dropouts, intuitive to use, flawless functionality with the iPhone, and brilliant app interface to customize those sound levels. Great little charging case too. Need to hear someone in person? Just tap the right headphone twice and the external microphone kicks in allowing you to hear the world around you just fine. Tap it twice again and you're in audio heaven. FOR TALKERS: Do yourself and your incoming callers a favor: Look elsewhere. You'll hear them just fine, but they'll barely hear you, especially above all the ambient noise the microphone picks up. Luckily, the headphones immediately disconnect from bluetooth the moment you take either one out, and you can just use the phone itself (just don't drop the bud!). After, pop the bud back in, and they immediately and automatically reconnect.

Like so many others I have been wondering if time to take plunge into True Wireless. After reading all the reviews, I decided to go with the Sennheiser TM. I have been using the Shure 535 forever, but really wanted to break free of the wire. My observations: The sound will never be as loud as your wired earphones which get their power directly from your phone. At the same volume level, the sound quality is exceptional with a truly wide soundstage. Proper fit is essential. They are light and comfortable. You will ultimately want to upgrade to something like Comply foam tips for better seal and earwax protection. Freedom from being tethered to phone is wonderful. TM is not as secure as wired or winged earbuds and will come out with too vigorous activities. Range is decent (10-15 ft.) until it's not. Then pops and dropouts. Controls work well with practice. I haven't really used transparency mode as it is just easier to pop one earbud out and the music pauses. Battery life is good, with nice case, but with somewhat confusing signals about remaining charges and battery percentage remaining. Never ran out but have been pretty good about charging. Remember to close music app. even after you return earbuds to case. I would imagine the charge in buds and case erode somewhat after a day or two without charging. I use primarily for music, though phone controls and sound are pretty good. I don't think the true wireless is perfected yet, but these are pretty nice!

Seriously, I’ve had Bose and Jaybird and neither comes close. The sound is nearly as good as my$400 Klipsch wired ear buds. I am genuinely astonished at the clarity of the highs, depth in the mid and, most spectacularly, the punch of the base. I’ve never heard that depth and fullness of base from a wireless earbud. Yes, battery is not as long as the Bose. The carry / charge case is strangely flimsy, but those are very minor when compared with how these perform. Way to go, Sennhieser! These babies cost a lot, but - unlike many things in the electronics world - they are totally worth it. I have knocked quality down a star because of the case - the buds themselves are very sturdy. Value is down one because they are so expensive.

I have always LOVED the idea of having wireless earbuds, but my past trials have all been failures. These Sennheiser MOMENTUMs actually perform BETTER than my super expensive headphones with beautiful clarity and the ability to fine-tune the sound to get exactly what you want via the mobile app. Add to that the fact that these are actually COMFORTABLE, and these MOMENTUMS are a WINNER.

These ears buds contain high quality sound and stay in place while running and working out. The volume could stand to be a little louder. The touch technology is very cool but does not function well. It is difficult to get the music to move forward and impossible to get it to go back to prior song.

The sound is awesome, love the punch, clarity is the superb, fits well in my ears, no issues while cycling, better than Sony I had before, would have given a 5 star rating, the battery sucks, I get 3-4 hours of battery after a full charge, it drains if I don’t charge daily.

Sound is great one of the best sounding buds around. Case works wonderfully. They turn off when they come out of your ears and on when they go in. Battery life is short but I didn’t mind. 4 hours per bud, 3 charges total for each. My issue. Volume was low. Couldn’t get them loud enough.

I bought these at the pretty steep price of 500 dollars. I unboxed them and was really excited. For wireless earbuds, they sounded very good and they slid right in my ears and stayed put. The touch controls were a bit unresponsive as sometimes it would take multiple clicks to respond. After about 2 hours of continual use, my ears did start to ache as the earbuds were a little too big for my ears and changing the rubber pieces to a different size didn't help. After 3 hours, I couldnt have them in anymore because the constant ear pain wasn't worth it. I am a really big Sennheiser fan, but I would not recommend these at 300 dollars.

These earbuds probably have the best balance of performance, features, and size of any other true wireless headphones that I have ever previously owned. What I mean by that is the Bose Soundsport Free earbuds sound better and provide truer lows. However, they are more bulky and only provide sound in one ear during phone conversations. These Sennheiser earbuds are also much more comfortable than the Bose and provide sound in both ears when talking on the phone. I am also not a huge fan of the Sennheiser case. While it is smaller than the Bose case, it is still a little bulky when placed in the inside pocket of a suit jacket. Lastly, I have worn the Sennheiser earbuds during several workouts and have never experienced an issue with their performance or with them remaining in place.

The quality of these headphones are superb. There are a few glitches sometimes that caused me to sometimes question why the price of these things are so high, but overall, I think it really gets the job done. The only problem I have with this product is its price. These headphones feel like they are around $150 - $250, not $300. The main reason you are buying this is for a true wireless experience with the audiophile level quality. It still does not compare to wired audiophile headphones, but in terms of true wireless, they are pretty good. In conclusion, if you do not care about sound quality, don’t buy this product. You are better off saving a couple hundred dollars. But if you really enjoy a high fidelity music experience, then maybe the $300 could be worth it.

Great Sound; one of the best earbuds on market

Excellent sound, very good separation, easy to use for those familiar with BlueTooth connectivity. Convenient carry case protects the earbuds and provides extended battery life, While the battery life is better than most higher-end completely wireless earbuds, it would be great if the battery life could be extended in the next generation. Also, you don't get much in the way of a warning...everything working great and then the buds just stop working when the batteries need to be re-charged. Regardless, all-in-all, these are one of the best pairs of earbuds I've ever owned. Highly recommend getting a pair - along with the AirFly wireless device for use on planes - much more comfortable and don't need to worry about connected cords while on the plane - especially while attempting to sleep.

Totally on point from a sound stand point, however it does not have the bells and whistles that the AirPods and beats have. The app is simplistic a little too simplistic you can only make subtle adjustments which makes me want to buy something else. The wireless earphones are better when listening to movies or that type of content, however music isn’t as loud as one would like. I wouldn’t buy again, however it is a good purchase if you will use strictly for movie consumption like I do on my tv at night. It drops the connection frequently and it’s difficult to pair something about the devices and Bluetooth not talking to each other at the same time. You must constantly set them up as well.

These earbuds have great sound quality and stay snug in your ears. The transparent feature is really nice to be able to hear conversations while listening to music, but it can be turned off if you want to cancel out sound. The equalizer is good, but I stick to the default setting. The battery was a concern of mine, but it lasts more than long enough for me and can be charged up relatively quick. The only drawback I've had is that once in a while these can be tricky to pair, but it works fine 90% of the time.

    The Real Deal

After reading early trade reviews, I had been waiting for these to become available, and they did not disappoint. Sound quality is excellent--in fact comparable to my Sennheiser Momentum headphones. The MTW buds are very comfortable in my ears, and they are very stable; once set in my ears, they stay put and do not require a lot of readjustment to maintain sonic quality. I tried a pair of Comply tips as a substitute for the tips supplied by Sennheiser, but they did not offer any better performance than the stock issue. The companion app (iOS in my case) has a very slick equalizer that allows easy adjustments that make a real difference in the sound. I know that headphone and earbud ratings are very subjective, but I've found so far that the MTWs measure up to all Sennheiser's claims. One caveat: some reviews seem to imply that the MTWs are active noise cancellers. Maybe that was just my wishful thinking, but the fact is that while the MTWs allow you to boost the level of ambient sound, they do not have any active noise cancelling capability. I have not tried the MTWs on an airplane--the acid test for noise isolation/cancelling, so I don't yet know if they will substitute for my Bose (wired) QC earbuds.

Only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is the fact that the battery charging case continually loses charge even when both earbuds are fully charged. This was fixed in the 2nd version of these headphones (which I now own) but when I did use these it was a pain to charge them every single day (the case). Other than that the sound quality is on par with audiophile-sound. Some of the best sounding earbuds out there without spending thousands of dollars.

Beautiful sound, clear, one of the few that do not just fall out of my small ears. I don't know if others have that issue but most in ear sets whatever reason eventually just pop out moving around. I was weary at first to buy resigned on just using over ear headsets. So that was a huge plus to me. Comfortable to wear but also the quality of the sound is just amazing.
