Noise cancelling was as good as Sony's latest but I preferred the better bluetooth support for Tidal Masters and Atmos.

Excellent, easy to connect to my device, i particularly like the folding and unfolding of the headset to turn it on and off. And it connect instantly to my ipad or my phone with no problem.

These headphones provide the wireless connection that I have wanted. I already have wired versions of Momentums that I like for greater fidelity.

Awesome headphones that have good bass response for most types of music. I could understand if you were listening to classical music how it could be a little too much bass.

Sennheiser Momentum 3 headphones are German brand, German quality and assembled in Romania, most other brands are made in China.

Bad quality product , now in July it stoped to work … just not working. Red light on and it turn it off when battery dies … I urgently need to change this one for a good quality product

I got the Sennheiser headphones in the hopes they would be a good replacement for the gaming headset I was currently using for online classes. The Sennheiser set is Bluetooth capable, and, most importantly, wireless. I was already familiar with the brand due to previous research on audiophile-grade headsets, so I wasn’t worried there. Unboxing was a pleasurable surprise. The outer box slides up to make way for the actual container holding the headset, which itself was in a nice gray, zippered, canvas-like bag, complete with the stylized “S” on the top. The bag makes a great storage container for the headphones, cords, and spare batteries. Everything to set up the ‘phones was included in the bag, including a quick-start guide. Unfolding the headset automatically turns it on; I was very surprised to hear the headphones start talking to me. Depending on the button combination, you can hear everything from how much battery is left to where you are in the Bluetooth pairing process. There are a lot of buttons on one ear in my opinion, though. There are the volume up/down buttons, pairing buttons, a button for setting the amount of noise cancelling, and others. Some do double-duty, such as the volume buttons also working as playback controls and phone controls should you use the headset for everything it’s capable of. It already comes about 20% charged, so you can use them straight out of the box, and that 20% goes for a while. The cords allow you to charge the headset in a number of ways, from a standard USB/outlet combination to a converter that will plug into a USB-C outlet (similar to Android phone chargers up to the Samsung S9+). To be honest, I haven’t yet plugged it in since it’s lasted for so long; I’m trying to find out what the life is before I go messing with cords. Pairing with Bluetooth is as easy as you would expect it to be. Syncing with my phone, the aforementioned S9+, was a piece of cake, and I immediately starting playing with a variety of music to see how accurately it was reproduced. I started with some pop, moved to rap, and finished with very heavy rock. It does not let the bass overpower the rest of the music, which is nice. I found the reproduction very similar to the sound quality competition setup I had in a previous vehicle. The only thing with the sound I didn’t like is that when it’s just a human voice, such as it is with an online course, it sounds slightly hollow or echo-y. However, it could be that the professor is using a wireless headset to speak, as well as the quality of the network that causes the hollow sound, especially since the music is done very well. Overall, this was a good acquisition. I like the freedom that going wireless with Bluetooth allows, and I can appreciate the sound quality that Sennheiser is known for. It’s very light and comfortable, and it’s easy to operate once the buttons are memorized. I’ll have to get used to everything it can do, but I look forward to having it for many years.
