Q: is this the momentum version 3?

A: Yes. This is version 3. The easy way to tell the difference is with the head band. The version 2 has a split in the head band kinda making it look like two side by side bands. The three has a crevasse, but still looks like one solid piece. There are many differences between them, but this is an easy way to tell them apart with a quick glance.

Q: How is the bass with these when listening to music?

A: Amazing bass

Q: Are these MOMENTUM Sennheiser headphones heavy? Are they comfortable? The apple over ear are very heavy.

A: Not particularly. My biggest complaint would have to be they can get hot after a few hours. Otherwise theyre quite pleasant to wear. If you want lighter high quality headphones I'd actually recommend the Sony XM4s. The Momentum 3 has the best sound imo but you know...sound is subjective.

Q: Does the mic pick up background noise? I want to use these for Zoom meetings, but sometimes there is ambient noise around me, and my keyboard is very clicky.

A: I haven’t had any complaints about background noise from others when I’m talking with the headphones on and I have not had any problems hearing perfectly these headphones are the best headphones I have ever owned. I have on the Sony 1000xm3 and I have the bose q35

Q: Are the cushions really made with real sheep leather like it's wrote in the specifications like the B&O or just fake synthetic leather becomes bad after a year?

A: It's just "genuine" leather. In the US, "genuine" leather is what most people think of when they hear "faux leather". It's just mushed up leather that's been reconstituted into a cheap, thin material.

Q: if it is wireless momentum 3, why is it cheaper than momentum 4 which came out later? momentum 4 is reviewed as upgraded version from i have read online. to be honest, momentum 3 is a better product?

A: Every manufacturer continually improves/adds new features to its products. I had the same concern when shopping. To me, the Momentum3 is just as good as the Momentum4, but the price is lower. I have been totally satisfied with my purchase. Don't stress over it.

Q: can i use it as if its wired? i hate wireless headphones.

A: Yes, it can be used with or without the wire. This is my first wireless headphones and I was concerned about the sound quality via wireless. I can notice no discernible difference using them wireless. Besides, it is far more convenient and less trouble.

Q: Do these have an audio passthrough option so I can talk to people? Similar to what the airport max headphones do.

A: Yes there’s a switch that allows you to go between full noise cancelling, partial, or off. I believe they call it the transparent hearing option. They also automatically pause your audio if you take them off.
