I am deaf in one ear. These headphones have been fantastic from the minute I opened the box. Plus now I can watch TV without bothering the family.

I got the wireless headphones because I am very hard of hearing. I was able to hook them up via the optical cable. I have a newer TV so I was able to use the internal speakers and the optical at the same time, without that option I could only use one or the other. The headphones themselves are to die for. the base and clarity are out of this world. I can hear the TV at the volume I need and not blow everyone else out of the room.

The sound quality is great. The surround option adds a wonderful dimension to listening. I’ve owned other headphones but this one is by far the best.

I can watch TV in bed and not disturb my wife!! The sound is better in the headphone than the speakers. Easy to setup and use. I purchased a second pair for my son. I dont have hear him playing video games or watching his TV.

Excellent product.. Its connected to the TV and I can walk around listening to my favorite shows and music.. Great for hearing impaired individuals.

Excellent headphones, clear and crisp with either base or surround. Easy to hook up and love the battery charge up base. Worth paying a little more to know that you bought a quality headphone. There are other headphones that seems good for a lesser price but don’t know if it is as good as they say. Although I paid more, I’m sure that this headset that I purchased is one of the best..

Love the sound deadening feature has surround bass boost individual control for each headset yet cab pair multiple pair so all members of family can listen with own sound settings. Awesome product!

This headset accomplishes most of my needs. I can watch TV at a volume of my choosing while others in the same room can watch at a different volume, The headset is comfortable. The earpieces do not hurt my ears as other headsets have, The volume control is difficult to use without removing the headset. I would recommjend this headset to others with a hearing problem.

Sennheiser might not be the household name that other brands like Sony and Bose are, but they make the best headphones on the market for audio quality and have been in the business for a long time. Got these for my parents to watch TV with, and they love them. Easy to setup and sound much better than even a decent soundbar. You won't find better headphones for TV viewing.

Firstly I want to say once ordered this Sennheiser arrived quickly! These are simply the best on the market! The sound quality is absolutely superior for the entire audio spectrum. Very comfortable to wear! These headphones are well worth the price! For a fiber optic connection the audio output for the TV must be set to PCM mode. Best Buy is the place to purchase them!

THE BEST!! This set of headphones has changed my and my mother's life! Although she is hearing impaired, we can finally watch a movie together without blasting the TV volume! Beware of other cheaper brands, only Sennheiser allows for multi viewers to watch at the same time.

Excellent headphones. Best sounding headphones of this type I've ever had. These are incredibly comfortable to wear for long stretches. Despite the description, they are not actually 'surround sound's, this feature just adds some bad reverb to the audio. But the audio quality is enough to offset this and they have a really long battery life as well.

Works with pc too it just takes some work but is very nice if you want the wireless experience with the quality of good headphones

This headset is comfortable and has great sound. The bass and surround work really well. Just wish there was a better way to hook to receiver. Have it hooked through headset port. Must plug in and out to watch tv with or without it. Most receivers do not have optical out. If hooking just to a tv should work great I think.

Comfortable headset with clear audio quality. The controls on the side of the earset are a plus. You can also connect a spare headset to the tower and use them simultaneously. The controls are for each headset so each user can set the volume to their liking. Great purchase.

The headphones do exactly what we wanted - allow one of us to watch TV without disturbing the other in our open plan house. I can watch TV while my husband pays the bills, and he can watch the Phillies while I talk on the phone. Perfect!

This is the second time we have purchased these for husband who has a significant hearing loss. He wears them everytime he watches TV and would not buy another other brand....period! Sound quality is amazing, comfort is just right and they work even when he leaves his chair for kitchen comforts. He is definitely spoiled and now talking about some for the bedroom.

Now Sennheiser is one of my favorite brands for audio. I own their HD 280 pro studio headphones and when used properly, they sound amazing!!! Unfortunately, I immediately returned these headphones because I have used better ones. I'd say the only nice-to-haves are the incredibly easy functionality, the wireless range and the fact that you can use an optical cable with it. However, the sound is the concern. It's not that they sound bad, but rather they are suited too much for TV. The sound doesn't really hit you since the bass is lacking, so you won't enjoy action movies. It basically sounds like you're sitting right next to your TV speakers. To be clear, they don't sound bad. But they're not very immersive either. Also, they weren't entirely comfortable. The padding material also feels cheap for the price I paid. I expected more from a brand like Sennheiser. Unless you're specifically looking for headphones for private listening, I'd recommend you look for a 5.1 soundbar/woofer combo around the $300-400 range since they kind of sound better and more immersive.

We had to wait for a special occasion to purchase these because they’re a little expensive, but we’ve been searching for surround sound headphones and for the price and even though these are actually simulators, they’re awesome and worth it. The only problem is we have to shut down our WiFi router because they conflict and the sound skips a lot. But they’re steady as long as the WiFi is off.

From all the different head phones we’ve tried, these are by far the BEST set; clear, crisp sound with adjustability and comfortable snug fit. Definitely worth the value!
