Quick, easy, trouble-free set up of new laptop. Well pleased.

The agent was very helpful and so kind! Good experience!

I had to return an unopened Mac and wasn't sure how it would go. To my delight, the clerk was happy to help, exchanged the laptop, cancelled the service package and was happy to update the service start date. All without any problem!

The sales person was very helpful in helping me to pick the right computer. He also suggested I leave it with geek squad until I brought my computer to transfer data from into the store.

My experience was part of a larger mess that resulted in unrevealed, unexplained and unexpected charges that were substantial. Without asking permission, the Geek people instead of transferring an existing phone number to a new device, created a new phone number that then subjected me to activation charges. To top off that unethical step, the Squad never cancelled the old phone number so I continued to be charged for a device I no longer owned. The experience was disjointed with multiple players from Best Buy and the Geek Squad involved, unprofessional and in some ways dishonest. I would recommend finding another vendor.

The Geek squad member activated our new cell phones and transferred all of our apps, data and files from our old phones to our new phones. She was quick, courteous and very knowledgeable.

Computers change rapidly. I do not want to try to keep of with all those changes. I am quite willing to leave set-up to an expert - it is a good value for my money. The laptop was ready at the promised time. The Geek Squad agent explained what had been done and answered my questions. All I had to do was take the laptop home and start using it.

Great installer . Knowledgeable, friendly and efficient

A tech connected a sound bar and set it so that all I had to do was turn on the TV and the sound bar automatically connected. It worked while the tech was here. Next time I turned on the TV there was no sound and I do not know what to do. I was told by a member of Geek Squad in the store to call 800-433-5778. Did that and was told that by the time I called for help that it was beyond warranty time. I believed that I purchased a separate tech support for the sound bar. Guess I must be wrong, or Best Buy's records are incorrect. The man I spoke with told he to call the sound bar manufacturer for help. Why should I do that when it was not connected properly?

This is a superb service for those of us who are not at all tech savy!
