Can’t get it to function as camera

I can locate extender with password but when I enter in the password for the flood light camera set up it tells me my WiFi password is wrong. How could it be when I can log in on other devices. It is still not operational and I’m having my secretary call geek squad to help. I was looking forward to seeing this amazing product at work. Hopefully geek squad can come to rescue.

They need more people at the counter.

Geek squad person bad

Didn’t know when I got to bestbuy if I really wanted the computer I recently had bought... wanted him to show me other laptops but he didn’t even ask !! I was treated as though I was an expert but with new computers coming out each year and my age group I’m in the air. So I just walked out without thanking geek person.

Computer set up by Greeks was not good.

They downloaded the program and when I got home it wouldn't work. Turbo tax also couldn't help. I had a long wait and had to come back several times. I was able to fix the issue with the help of a manager from the cell phone area who helped me get onto the best buy hotspot.

Why the Rush?

They placed a device between the old and new and left us to watch. The new device managed about one third but did not tell us how much was missing and the old device was sold.

Phone data transfer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This review is for setup of my mobile phones with total tech -without total tech it would have cost $40 which is insane. I wouldn't exactly say the set up anything they plugged the cord into the phones handed me the phone and asked what i wanted transfered then walked away and didn't return. The only reason I choose for them to "transfer " content instead of me doing it - which was obviously not the case since I'm the one who did it - was to ease my mothers mind since I pay for her service. Usually total tech is very helpful but this whole encounter was horrible

Employees not knowing what the former employee did. Cancelling total tech. Missing cord from original purchase. I think that 14 trips to Best Buy in a short amount of time is disgraceful. And for one of your day managers to not allow a no-charge house call is absurd. It should have been the least you could do. But ... no ....

Our Setup for New Devices service is meant to help with things such as getting the device up and running, downloading any new software needed, creating individual accounts, and making sure the product connects to Wi-Fi properly. That said, we can understand how your individual account not including your favorites from your last device would rub you the wrong way. If that's something you would like help getting set-up, please reach out to the store who performed the service to see if they can better assist.

Don't follow their setup instructions!

After following the initial setup instructions as they said to, they then refused to even try because apparently initial setup on the iPhone was the only chance to be recover the data. They did nothing to setup my new iPhone and refused to try to recover the data off my old phone like they said they would and could if I bought their service.

I got Office installed to my computer

I asked a question..how do I use this? (Nothing happened when I tapped the icons). He told me my time was up and that I'd need to make another appointment and pay $$$ to get a lesson. When I got home, I wasn't able to get anything to work. (A brand new computer). I had to hire another reputable private technology expert. He told me that the installation had not been finished, (I'd gotten a notification from microsoft). He also told me that the icons the geek put on my computer lead to no where!! I am disgusted with Best Buy. I paid for nothing but frustration!

Terrible Service
