The Geek Squad quickly and efficiently setup the new HP Envy x360 laptop I purchased and transferred my files from an old laptop to the new laptop. Everything worked perfectly. I was very pleased with the service and timeliness.

I have used computers for pleasure and professionally for many years, but I am retired now and don't stay up to date on new programs and language, but the trained personnel are patient and helpful every time. They are one of the main reasons that I shop Best Buy.

The only problem I had was the cashier told me it would take 2 days to set up computer. I was told I would have to come and pick-up computer then. 3 hours after leaving the computers, I was called by geek squad saying my computers were ready. I live 1 hour away from store, so I have to wait until this coming weekend to pick them up.

Bought a new HD computer and had the Geek Squad transfer all info from my former computer to the new one. Not a single hitch... They ( a young lady named Sequoia) was terrific. Pleasant and straightforward. She made sure I was happy with the process.

My local store agent was wonderful in answering my questions & then offering the affordable laptop set-up service. This service checks the keyboard, monitor, touchpad, & accessory ports for correct working condition. Geek Squad removed the useless adware/bloatware. They disabled the S mode and installed the Office Home/Student 2021 version that I purchased. They helped me get my e-mail accounts working before I left the store.

Best Buy set up my new computer in a very timely manner and it was ready for pickup in about 30 hours. The staff that I worked with where kind, efficient, and helpful. I requested all gaming be removed and I found one item that wasn't but that's an easy fix and I can stop by to have that taken care of. Because the serial number on my old laptop fell off years ago, they are unable to transfer my data yet I maybe able to find when I purchased the old computer and talk with the store I purchased it from. If so, than I've been told there will be no additional set up fee to handle this matter.
