Geeks didn't follow instructions at set up

However, that should have been done at pick up. I called once I was home and was put on hold and the line eventually went dead. Had to call a manager at the local store to get help.

Do Not Buy This

You don't think people don't need it for work, school, etc? Like cmon I know it doesn't take that long. Overpriced service for high schoolers setting up your new $1,000 computer. Glad it came with my BestBuy membership.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used Geek Squad for the setup of my laptop because I wanted to be sure some of the factory installed programs were uninstalled before I started using it. The workers were friendly and polite, but my problem was that when I arrived to pick it up, they hadn't uninstalled some of the programs/apps I specifically asked them to remove. That was annoying. For me, it wasn't worth the $40.
