Did not do as instructed, lost some files, lost bookmarks, renamed files, making it hard to find them. Told me battery would last 9+ hours, it only lasts 5+ hours. Did not set it up so i could use a different browser , which i instructed them to ..instead they locked it into all things MSoft

They set laptop up for me. But had issues installing word program. Took it to my daughter and she did it in 30 min.

I did not have my tower/computer set up. I set it up myself

I bought a new laptop and wanted the info (files, programs, etc) transferred to the new one. Got there to pick it up after they said it was done, and it was no where near done - new office program wasn't working, 4 programs weren't loaded, many files were missing. I guess me saying "transfer all files and programs" wasn't explicit enough. Not happy.

I purchased a Amazon HD Tablet for my sister who lives in Montgomery, AL. The Geek Squad Tech did not seem very knowledgeable in helping her in the set up of this device and understanding how to use it. (I was on the cellphone. She and I tried to explain to him that she was a beginner). He even kept referring to the device as a Kindle. Which made me think that I had purchased the wrong item. He even admitted that he had never set one of these up before...therefore why didn't he get someone to assist him, instead of letting her leave without the tablet being set up accurately? Maybe, I am pampered by the Geek Squad in Alliance Town Center in North Fort Worth, TX. Their customer service is excellent!

I purchased a new computer and sales person said geek squad could set up computer and transfer files at time of purchase. This is the only reason I purchased this because I needed computer for important zoom meeting the next morning. Sales person sat me at a table in the geek squad area and said I would be next person helped. I waited 20 minutes with no help. The geek squad helped 2 other people that walked up to the area. I left and set up computer on my own at home. Cancelled geek squad but did not get full refund because they said I used set up service because appointment was scheduled.
