    We bought the year service plan, the Geek Squad was SUPPOSED TO TRANSFER EVERYTHING from my old computer to the new one!! They failed miserably!! They did not transfer 17 years of genealogy research going back to the Pilgrims!!!!!! I am devastated!!! All my work gone....and Kalead the manager did not care!!!...I do not think he even knew what I was talking about...but could not be bothered to find out and learn!!! THEN...he refused to let me see my old computer(we had sold it to them, BIG MISTAKE to trust them!!! AND HE REFUSED TO CALL A MANAGER TO HELP ME!! ARROGANT AND RUDE!! I am so sad...

    The manager was very knowledgeable and helpful. Others I interacted with seemed annoyed that I was even there, when I asked a question, the answer was just reboot, you shpuld be fine. More often than not, that was not the case.

    It hasn't proved it's worth to me as of yet. Some things I feel should have been explained first off wasn't. Also, they imputed my name info wrong, and I can't get it changed without going back into the store! Doesn't make sense to me! Also, some of my stuff wasn't transferred over.

    Half Complete & Incomplete New Lap Top Set Up

    Sale asso. told me to bring my printer and computer in for a new set-up. Could not connect my wifi printer, was told I didn't need to bring it in and when I get home once I connect my laptop to my router it would p/up my printer...It didn't! Read on my new laptop that the 10S sometimes doesn't support some printers. Nice to know after the fact. Also, I was sold virus protection, at home try to set it up and again my 10S laptop is telling me to switch my 10S off to install...um a totally different and new computer to me, I have no idea how to do all this stuff on my new laptop without jacking it up and this is why I purchased Geek Squad and went in with my new laptop to Best B. with an appointment to have them install it. Hour was up and it didn't get done.

      Regarding the Computer and Tablet setup, connecting a printer to your laptop and setting up that printer is not included with that service. As for the security software you were having difficulty with, installation of that should have happened when you were in store as that should be included with your laptop setup. I’m very sorry for any confusion or inconvenience that you’re faced with this appointment.     Memory installed incorrectly

    This was my first time using Geek Squad. I had them install additional memory before taking the computer home. After a few weeks of the computer lagging and saying it didn’t have enough RAM my son discovered that it was installed wrong...

    The set up work was fine, however, the customer service during pick up was absolutely awful. I was told upon purchase to allow 20-30 minutes at pick up for a walk through of the work that was done. The person I met with did nothing of the sort. He was rude, short-mannered, unprofessionally dressed in a stained, ripped skirt, and finally told me I asked too many questions. The whole pick up process took 7.25 minutes.

    When I arrived to pick up the laptop I purchased and had Geek Squad set up, the tech handed me the laptop and told me to go to U Tube to look up anything that I had questions about.
