    I hardly had a chance to look at my screen as the technician was quickly explaining how the laptop works. I do not feel comfortable with everything this computer is able to do since we were on a time clock.

    I asked that all ads and extranious/trial programs be removed. They were not. Purchased full price Mictrosoft Office but still get 350 offers.

    I can't determine if you downloaded Microsoft Professional Plus 2016 or used Microsoft 365. I bought MPP 2016 through my employer for use on my new laptop that I bought at Best Buy. What should I do?

    It took a long time and on top of it lots of stuff was duplicated. For example, I had both Micorsoft Office 2010 and 2016. I wish they would have just chosen one.

    Slow to setup the new laptop

    I checked the new laptop in on friday and did not get a call to pick it up until thursday. I was told by an agent that the work was completed way before that.

    This is my first Apple and I ask a few questions and my Geek Guy could not answer them. I ask for my desktop to be transferred and only a few items were put on my desktop.

    My hard drive was partitioned into C and D. They backed up the data on C but did not backup data from D and all of the data, including photos from Thailand, was lost.

    The first associate was very cold and had us wait before hesitantly offering assistance. He did not approach us; he stayed back behind a counter making us feel uncomfortable as if we were inconveniencing him. He made it difficult to set up an appointment for setting up our 5 tablets; offered very little information making us feel very inept. We paid for the service and felt like we were asking for something free. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE...not to say it got any better with the upcoming experiences with other agents for the very same issue. they held onto my tablets for very well more than 2 weeks; I had no use for them by then. When I wanted my money back, they would only offer me an in-store credit. I still have not used them to this date.

    The Geek Squad did an alright job of setting up my new tablet, but If still had to do all the windows 10 updates myself. I felt for the price it was definitely not worth it.

    The two Geek Squad employees I interacted with were very nice. However, the rest of this experience was ridiculous. I get Covid restrictions… But they made it way harder than it needed to be. Multiple appointments to drop off and pick up due you to their poor organization and lack of communication. On my third try to pick it up, at curbside when they handed me my computer, at THAT point they decided to tell me they didn’t install any of the things I asked them to because my computer was in S mode and third-party software was not able to be installed in S mode. They offered for ME to call them if I wanted them to help ME do it at home. There was a reason why I paid the geek squad to do it… I don’t have Internet at home! I can’t for the life of me figure out why they had my computer for 5 days and couldn’t call to ask me that. I paid them to do it. They didn’t do it. I’m very disappointed... and annoyed that I had to jump through more hoops to get it done myself.

    Geek wifi, according to them, is so slow that to assist setting up a new computer it will take 3-4 hours. Yet I did it at home with Geek squad phone in to computer in 30 minutes.

    I had a couple of web browsers installed on my MacBook error. When I picked up the computer from the geek squad, the young lady that was helping me was no help at all. Any question I had she was unable to answer. Couple of the questions just received a blank stare, as if she did not understand English.

    Email reported computer ordered was available for pickup. NOT! It was available for Geek Squad to install software. Geek Squad said it would take 3-4 hours to install software. NOT! After driving 35 miles to pick up PC went back home empty handed. Computer was ready the next day. Old Chinese proverb: SAY WHAT YOU DO AND DO WHAT YOU SAY.

    Took laptop in to be wiped, and reinstalled. This was done, but laptop is unimaginably slow, so will need to take back to store, but location is not convenient

    The Geek Squad kept my old laoptop to transfer files, but the only thing is a GeekSqusd iscreen icon. It opens up to Empty Pictures and Documents Folder
