    While my system was set up correctly, a policy prevented them from transferring programs from the older machine. This created great hardship for me and interrupted my ability to work effectively for several days.

    They did transfer most everything, did not upload the antivirus I have them and then they forgot to give back the product code so had to go back AGAIN to the store to pick it up and install it myself.

    On the phone I was told no appointment was necessary to pick up my computer. When I arrived at the store, I was told I needed an appointment. I was told I would have to wait until all customers with appointments were served. A week before, I was on the phone for one hour and thirty minutes trying to talk to a live body at the Auburn, California, store. Best Buy in Auburn had called me regarding my data transfer and left a message to call back. It took me 90 minutes to reach a person at the Auburn Best Buy. Your communication is terrible.

    The Geek squad person went through a quick review. I had lots of questions and he was in a hurry, so I felt uncomfortable asking more questions. Not polite.

    My tech person Joshua was not the best match for me. He made me fell stupid and rushed. It would be nice to know you only get 20 minutes I would have made two appointments. I even had a notebook out to make notes. I had to ask repeatedly for him to slow down so I could follow along. Now Seth on the other hand was patient and kind. When I started this process.

    Had an appointment but didn't get service until 20 minutes later. Couldn't complete because I needed information I was not informed I needed. People were courteous.

    How can I review what did not happen? The geek squad made an appointment to set up my laptop for 29 Oct 21 and did not come. Then they made an appointment for 5 Nov 21 and did not come. When are they coming? Your service is horrible and we paid $200 for it. I will not recommend Best Buy or geek squad to anyone. When are you coming to fix set up my laptop?

    I was very unhappy with the treatment during the transfer of the data. I was given the bums rush as they had better things to do than explain to me how the computer works. I had to come back ask for a supervisor and it turned out the work was done for shoddy. I am very displeased with the customer support.

    I had to have a replacement computer in a hurry. Bought a Mac from BestBuy and had to purchase the Windows program in order to use the Mac for work. Microsoft has to have 2 ways to reach you if you have a problem: your email and your phone (for text). BOTH of these were put in my computer incorrectly, so my computers and phone are not in sync. I have to leave my laptop with a service provider to fix this mess. I am NOT happy and will never use the Geek Squad for anything else.

    I paid $39.99 for all of my apps, etc to be moved over to my new IPad. The person said that I may have to put only a couple of passwords in. I took it home and I had to down load all my apps and put all the passwords in. Nothing was done. I live too far away to go back. That was a wast of money.

    Truly was not satisfied with my set up. Widget there for gmail but not operational. Tech told me to use google to go in Not told about printer connection. I told them what type of printer I had and was told to just plug in and it would connect. NO No personalization done even though he asked me what name I wanted to use.
