    I got my data transferred from my old laptop to my new one (pc to pc). On the new laptop the files were readable but not editable and my file locations were in accessible. I spent a tearful hour with them and got bounced around from 3 people and the last one told me it was fixed though when I tried it, it was not. But he mansplained that it definitely was fixed. When we disconnected I had my IT guy at work fix it in under 5 minutes working remotely.

    They werent really helpful. I was told to go online and do it, but since i was there and waited awhile i insisted they do something. So they downloaded avtivirus.

    The person that did my initial setup seemed to have a number of issues that had t be corrected when I picked it up. The person that reviewed my system with me when I picked t up corrected all the issues and was excellent.

    The whole process took to long. Plenty of people but not sure how well trained. I buy all my products from Best Buy but have been very disappointed with computer geek support. I

    Purchasing Set up is a waste of money and time

    Purchased for someone else. The "Manager " insisted that Best Buy set up the computer and backup because the recipient never set up a computer, and fell prey to the "Manager's" fast talk. Purchased a jump drive instead of paying for backup. The in-store wait time to leave laptop for setup, the 3+ days waiting time for "setup" and the in store wait time to receive the finished product was ridiculous. No phone call, no return call, no explanation, and no apology.

    After 2 days in your store, Geek Squad could not transfer all of my records from my old Hard Drive to the new one, and they could not set up my email. After I set up this new Desktop All In One at my home, they wanted another $50 to come to my house to fix it. But the Tech called & said he wanted his $50 whether he fixed it or not. I cancelled. What happened to my $200 I paid for Geeks??

    Still need to take this computer to someone who can straighten out the way they loaded my music into computer. I tunes is unusable. Paid over 100 dollars for them to do this. Tech who then tried to fix it said he knows nothing about I tunes. $ 1000. .dollar lap top . That doesn't work right :-( thanks

    Service was poor. Very rude, young man who acted like he was too busy to care about, let alone answer my questions. If you don't want to provide help why have a department that provides tech help? Had to make two trips and find a different, helpful person. Next time I will file a complaint.

    Not to good! Geek Squad failed to move all the old data from the old laptop to the new laptop. Missing a lot of stuff and now will have to take it back into another store to get this fixed.

    Laptop when picked up two days later did not have Microsoft loaded, did not have McAfee removed! Geek Squad took my money but never did the service!

    Computer has never worked correctly. It dies and needs to be rebooted multiple times while running an application. Multiple visits to Geek Squad have not helped!

    Laptop was a lemon. Was at the Geek Squad for a month while they attempted to fix it. Never did and wound up returning. Frustrating experience that has me going elsewhere for my next PC.

    A disaster. Had to go back to store to return the tablet because it stopped working. Re purchase another one and was charged $145.00 to have it set up. ATT helped me set up a few things that evidently could not be set up at store. Opened a credit card. Waiting for Bill to pay in full. Will have to think twice about purchasing anything else at Best Buy.

    Horrible service from the guy who came out. He was so impatient with me. Then said he couldn't mount the tv and left I asked on the phone could they hide the cords after mounting he said he couldn’t and just left. By far the worst Geek I’ve ever met.
