In Shadow of the Colossus you play as the wanderer seeking to bring his love interest back to life. In order to do so you must defeat 16 different Colossus. What sets this game apart is the sheer size of the Colossus themselves. They tower over your character and defeating them consists of climbing onto the monster, locating and attacking their weak spot until they're defeated. There isn't anything else to do in the game besides this. The pacing of the game can drag as the world, although beautiful, is void of any characters.

I enjoyed the game to a degree, but it still feels like I am playing a PS2 game trying to fight the controls. If you can get past that, the game itself is very interesting and neat.

If you never played it before back its original release on the PS2 then would enjoy this game...but if you have before then you would notice it's mostly a fresh coat of paint.

If you have not tried this game there isn't a better time then to try this beautiful remastered version for the PS4. You have to try it

I missed out on the original, and while I do think this game lives up to the hype, it’s not for everyone. Requires some patience.

If you liked the original PS2 classic, or if you're new to SotC, either way this game has a great adventure to offer. Easily recommended.

The bosses are very clever and the whole experience left me tearing up in the end. Very fun game and a must have in every ps4 collection

Played this game when it originally came out on PS2 and I loved it! Looking forward to playing this masterpiece all over again.

The graphics are obviously improved as is much of the game play. Maneuvering around while on horseback can still be just as frustrating as the original. All in all the game is pretty much what I expected from a remake.

This game is so amazing and the music is so calm love this game reminds me of Zelda but on PlayStation

This is a classic ps2 game brought back to a ps4 level. Fun game and I wanted it in my ps4 collection.

The game’s bosses are unique, awesome to look at and very fun to battle. Only downside is the lackluster environment.

This is the third time I buy this game. I bought it when it came out on the ps2 than when it came on the PS3. Amazing game.
