The original game was stunning upon its release on the PS2 in 2005, but this remake is truly a sight to behold in 2018. This is, quite simply, one of the most beautiful, awe-inspiring, powerful video games ever made and is something that any gamer should experience at least once.

Shadow of the Colossus is a cleaned up overhaul of the original PS2 game. It is a rich adventure told through wandering in the world around you. The developers take advantage of the technology of the PS4 and deliver a richer take for fans of the original.

I try to play all games that PS makes remake for, as there prob is a reason. I never played the original, but as others have mentioned, with the overhaul and performance upgrades, the game indeed seems fun to play. (Only played an hour so far) At the lower price, give it a try!

This is a beautiful game. It has none of the distractions of modern games and the story line is simple. This reminded me of games from an earlier time in my life. It was a welcome change to not have to worry about upgrades, campaigns, etc. Just play, enjoy the graphics and the score.

It’s a great time to be a ps4 gamer- many titles from years ago are being fully realized and improved with the newer technologies. If you’ve never tried this or if you’re just looking for a reason to go back and play through it again- now is the time. It’s even better than you remember.

This is the original game, nothing added or removed really. It is remastered to look amazing. On a PS4 Pro with a 4K HDR TV, it's just beautiful. But don't expect extra content new colossi or anything like that. This is the original game just looking way better than it ever has before.

Just a remaster of the original game. They added difficulty settings as well, which I don't remember the original PS2 version having. So if you play once in a while its a great game, however, if you want the challenge of the original play on the hardest difficulty.

It probably depends on whether or not you have played the original Shadow of the Colossus. I have never played the original and I was not impressed with the overall gameplay (just killing giant colossus creatures over and over). However, the gameplay structure is great and the graphics are awesome...it just wasn't really my style of game.

I got this game as a gift for my boyfriend. He enjoyed playing it initially, but quickly discovered that the controls can be difficult to use when battling. The storyline and improved graphics, however, have proved to be great. Hopefully, he’ll revisit this game and complete it once he’s more comfortable with the controls.

This remake retains everything that made the original great while adding a new coat of paint that just makes it look fantastic on modern consoles. Hunt down the legendary colossi as you explore and discover areas across a vast map. Everybody should experience this work of art.

I played the original years ago and it was a wonderful experience. While graphically enhanced in every way, this release shows that the quality of the original was mostly a 'you had to be there' moment. It's not as exciting or interesting as it was years ago, it's not the fault of the developers though, this is just something that happens with remasters. Love it for what it is, not what it was.

Never played it before and I finally had no excuse to not play it. It was fun taking down every giant as they made me scratch my head a few times to figure out how to defeat them. Great and emotional story as well . If you’ve never played this before, now is he best time.

I had already played this game on PS2 and PS3, i bought this version for a friend that had never played it and he loved it. If you have never played it, then by all means get this version, if you have done so and want to replay it why not get the best version available.

Shadow of the colossus is a classic that looks even better now on current gen consoles. Game keeps it straight and to the point with its massive boss battles and it's epic terrain. You'll love the game start to finish and will be grateful they made this remastered version.

For those who like games like ICO or The Last Guardian this game is pretty much a must play as it is made by the same team and with the improvements made by this remake along with the inclusion of 4k this is definitely the best version of the game to be made.

Absolutely stunning remaster of a classic PS2 title with a really refreshing approach to gameplay, despite originally coming out in the mid-2000’s. In a time where so many things seem like a cheap cash crop in 2019, this is great to have in your library.

I really wish I had a PS4 Pro more than ever with this game. Even on a standard PS4 it looks amazing. Just like the old PS2 version but with completely redone visuals and smoother controls. Definitely worth the buy, whether you played the old on or not!

The visual overhaul is stunning, thoroughly enhancing every facet of Wander and Agro's excellent adventure. Galloping through the tranquil world is always breathtaking; felling a monumental colossus is always humbling. Shadow of the Colossus is a beautiful reconstruction of an already exceptional title. It continues to be a modern classic and is an extraordinary game that everyone must experience.

This is an amazing remake made with dedication and care. Looks amazing and plays close to the original with some subtle improvements. I'm sure some purists will still play on PS2 original but the masses this is a must have title on the PS4.

Shadow of Colossus is my favorite game from PS2 era. The new remake captured all the nostalgia and feels. This is the best re-make I've ever seen. I'm playing it on PS4 Pro and an OLED TV, and it's the best game I've seen on PS4 pro, even better then Horizon.
