I have never been a tomb raider fan and wanted to give it a try... not impressed

Good game but more of the same. I really hope the next one is different

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is and okay game. I liked the first to better.

I haven’t played it completely yet. It’s good if you like such games.

Honestly not that satisfied with the overall game quality. I wish game companies would produce more works of art like the last of us or the unchartered series. Too many glitches in this game and story line kinda sucks but I’m not into the Laura Croft thing I guess so that could be why as well.

I purchased this as a gift for an avid gamer. He loved it.

Everything about this game, from the graphics to the load times to the game mechanics themselves screams last gen. Top of it's generation PS3, but PS3 nonetheless. The graphics are more solid (without bad scaling artifacts that plagued the 720p gen for 1080 displays, as we've come to expect for 1080p encodes this gen. But texturing and detail is just not on the level of the latest Assassin's Creed games, Farcry 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc, etc. That's not to say it looks at all bad, but I expected better from a game released this late in this generation. Load times are also PS3 level SLOW, and game mechanics in general are firmly rooted in the capabilities and limitations of last gen. Had this game been released the first year the PS4 came out, I wouldn't be so hard on it, as most of the games for the first year or so still seemed to be biased by the previous gen. But I just can't give glowing praise for game based on last gen innovation that was so recently released in 2018. I'm a fanboy of the franchise too, and am grateful that Square Enix continues to develop games based on this version of the character, as I find the current reboot that began last gen to be highly compelling, story wise. But the gameplay itself is devoid of innovation and very plainly behind the times. Recommended for fans of Tomb Raider and Uncharted style games who appreciate following a story, more than for gamers looking for a genuinely ambitious next level gaming experience.

Laura Croft looks more breathtaking than ever and is a very fun character to play as. It looks like the game is truly run on a current graphics engine. Ammo is more plentiful and puzzles are a fun challenge but not to difficult.

The Tomb Raider series is so good and this is no exception. Fun, exciting, puzzling at times but in a good way. Highly recommend you get this if you played the others, and if you haven't played the others in this series you should get those too.

Puzzle and action gaming at it's finest. Do yourself a favor and just buy it already.

As fun as previous TombRaider games! Great graphics and fun story!
