This purifier is very easy to use right out of the box. Its basically mounting in the filter, plugging it in, and then using the touch screen to set things how you prefer. I have ours set to auto and its worked perfectly. How do I know it works? We have it in our basement and its hummed along at 100% clean air, and has been very quiet while running. Then my daughter burned something in the microwave on the main floor. My son comes running from the basement and says the air purifier is going crazy. Sure enough, it had turned red from blue on the indicators and kicked into high gear. I was very impressed it picked that air up all the way across the house and down a floor. As I mentioned, it runs very quiet and has a slim design with bright blue indicators that can be dimmed or turned off. It gives a constant level of how clean the air is, and most of the time for us its 100%. It has the auto setting I mentioned and 4 different manual fan speeds to pick from. It also has a filter life button which will display how many hours are remaining on the current filter. Overall a quality product from Shark that is basically a plug in and let it go machine.

There's a difference in air quality, you can test it by cooking but only drawback is that it's still dusty around the areas.

It works better then i thought it would! Takes the oder out the air within 15mins

Works better than expected. But i wish there is an option to control with wifi.

This is the second Shark Air Purifier 4 that we have purchased. It is an excellent product. We use it daily in two large rooms, and it has been very reliable, especially during the fire season when the smoke was a problem in our area.

Love love love this air purifier. I have the previous model also. Such a great deal for the price. It’s quiet yet powerful. I love how the room air quality is displayed or you can turn it off. The automatic feature lets you set it and forget it.
