Only rating it 4 stars because the filters are so expensive. Works as described, and I most likely will continue to stick with Shark as a brand for air purifiers.

Very good product that cleans the air. Got it when it was on sale. Worth every penny.

Does the magic work? I don't know but we're roughly a couple months in and it has a digital read-out that lets us know a variation which seems to coincide with the amount of bacon or toast cooking in the room or a door open. So it seems to sense changes in the surrounding. The filters better be inexpensive as this black box was expensive.

I was looking for an air purifier that would work for a large open area and this one works like a charm! I have 7 long hair cats, 5 litter boxes, 3 kids, cook daily, don't dust as often as I should, and my roommate smokes on the back patio. I have the Shark purifier set to automatic and it purifies the air within a few minutes! I've tested it with everything I can think of, including spraying some lysol and it kicks on everytime. I like that it has a remote and also shows the percentage of clean air. My downstairs has a large open floorplan with high ceilings (kitchen, living, dining all in one open area) and this particular purifier works throughout my whole downstairs. I would have had to buy several air purifiers per the square footage noted on all the rest of the purifiers. I have not had any issues with the purifier but just in case I do, I purchased the replacement plan thru BestBuy. Very pleased with my purchase!!

We’re happy with the air purifier so far. I’ve noticed fresher and cleaner air smell when I come in the house. Initially it said our air quality was at 100% so I’m not sure if it’s only measuring obvious strong odors such as cooking. We have noticed when setting up near kitchen area it will change in response to cooking odors such as air fryer and oven. We also had one day when we accidentally burned bacon and it dropped to the 30% range and by later in the afternoon air quality was better and odors removed. I think it’s also helped with general pet odors from dander in the house. We have not had it long enough to determine a reduction of allergy symptoms or dust in the house, but we are hopeful that this will be helpful. We are currently alternating using upstairs and downstairs (it is easy to move and carry), but we are considering getting a 2nd unit. The filters are a little more expensive than other air purifiers that I looked at but seem to last more hours. This one lasts about 4000 hours and others were 2000-3000 for similarly priced air purifiers. The filter life doesn’t seem to be impacted by running on high vs low, I’ve tested to see if unit reduced the hours based on high power.

This six fan air cleaner is great. It is effective in cleaning the air and we like that it has sensors to tell you when it has finished. We like the large size to clear our big rooms. We bought a castor dolly to place it on in order to move it around easier. It is not heavy but it is a little bulky.

While not an expert on air purifiers this unit seems to work very well. When in automatic mode it runs on low most of the time and cannot even be heard. The display is very easy to understand and use. Automatic mode will increase the fan speed when airborne contaminents are detected then drop back to low as the air is cleaned up.

Love it. It’s quiet and efficient. My students like looking at the air quality level indicator to see how clean our air is and monitor their talking and “germ spread” in the classroom. But I would recommend you get it using your reward points or if you have a gift card. $500 is expensive for a teacher’s out-of-pocket expense.

Works as it should. Definitely helps with the air quality in my home.

For the last 10 years, I spend most of my time in a 250 square foot room. I smoke, a lot, and wish to keep the smoke from others. 365 days a year I kept a fan in an open window. I decided to close the window and use an air filter to clean the air. Steps taken: 1. Order Shark Air Purifier. 2. Pick it up from 316. 3. Open box. 4. RTFM. 5. Set it up. When I first powered it on, the display showed 100% clean. However, after a few minutes it slowly dropped to 0%. I have had the unit for over a month. It is great! I keep it on automatic 24/7. It sits 3 feet from my desk and cleans the air in under 30 minutes. Quiet? Not so much, but that is my fault. Given the amount of cigarette smoke I put into the air, I would not expect the device to operate at a lower speed. I highly recommend the Shark HE600 Air Purifier.

We’ve had it just about a year now, and it smart investment on keeping all types of odors to a minimum.

Excellent air purifier,auto settings works very well and its quiet

Quickly detects elements in the air and goes to work. Air freshener and daily cooking will be identified and cleared. I was very impressed. Filters are about 100 bucks apiece. Pretty expensive for a filter that you'll need about 3 times a year. You get what you pay for though.

Excellent product - quiet, with a slim profile. Shows the % of pollutants in the air for germs, dust, and pet fur. We have it in our kitchen and it comes on automatically when we cook something on the stove, and clears the air in a matter of minutes. Would highly recommend.

Great way to keep home clean from allergies and allergens

This is a fantastic air purifier, the best I have seen in this category. Easy to use, remote works perfectly. The auto feature is impressive. We ended up buying two of these
