A: We would like to let you know that there is a button on the air purifier that allows you to dim or turn off the lights on the unit.
Q: How much do the replacement filters cost?
A: From $89-$109 on the Shark website. I haven't seen them elsewhere yet.
Q: Will this unit keep down dust accumulation ??
A: I’ve noticed a bit of a difference in my dust accumulation since buying this product but nothing like what I thought it would. I do have a smaller home with a few pets though so our dust level can get out of hand.
A: Hey Nessa, Right now I see them both for $299 and my advice is to jump on it now at that price. I don't see any difference between the two part numbers except for the color. I bought one and hands down thankful I did. My daughters both have bad allergies and has helped them both out tremendously and I can tell a difference in the air that's hard to explain as my house isn't a dirty one. Also it has a feature called auto which I keep mine on and it kicks into high if the air gets disturbed for any reason. Which you will learn a lot of particles floating around when cleaning, cooking and etc. Stuff you really didn't realize. only downfall I would say is that it can get pretty loud with 6 fans. Although I hardly even hear it anymore. Hope this helps.
Q: Hi i was wondering does this remove dog hair out of the air?
A: Dog hair and cat hair particles are too large for an air purifier to take in. But it will remove the dander from the air from a pet.
A: We run it 24 hrs/day. I believe it's meant to be operated that way and if I remember correctly in the welcome video it said the filter will last 6-8 months. Of course everyone's timeframe will vary...

A: It would be interesting to find out. We are having wild fires where I live and when I could smell the smoke inside my home my machine reacted and went to work cleaning the air, I would check BB return policy for it and give it a go.
