    I purchased two of these units a couple of days apart. First was brand new. Very impressed with it so I purchased a second unit "open box - Excellent condition". Unfortunately the second unit was used and filthy. Far from excellent condition. Kept it anyway and had to thoroughly clean it. Would recommend only purchasing new. Not worth saving a few dollars purchasing open box.

    I like the air purifier. It's a shade noisy when it shifts into high, but I leave it on auto so it shifts speed as needed. Very quiet on lower speed. It does a good job.
