I bought two, one for my upstairs and one for downstairs, which are both larger than 1200 sq. ft, so I would move the purifier to the rooms that family members were in. The downstairs purifier stopped working after about two months, and the upstairs unit stopped working about a week after that. I have to assume that the units are not built for continuous usage and are definitely not durable for large spaces.

Bought this Shark Air Purifier back in June, 23 and after (4) months, it just stopped working! Couldn't return to BB because I didn't purchase store extended warranty. Now I'm out of $300.00 dollars & an air purifier! Over the years, I've purchased a few Shark products and became accustomed to good quality, style and durability. Although the Shark Max Air Purifier is a rather sleek looking appliance, it fails in the categories that matters most... function and durability!!!

It does what it does. Leave it alone and it will do what it is supposed to do. No gimmicks.

This air purifier has helped my breathing and allergies 100%. Got it on sale and I love every minute that purifies my hair!!!

So far I have been really impressed. It will automatically kick on when we start cooking in another room. My only complaint is that its base doesn’t feel stable. It needs better footing or weight in the bottom. But otherwise its been great!

Ok, so I bought this to specifically get rid of the smell of food in my house and make it smell like… nothing. It doesn’t do that. No fresh clean air at all.

The Shark HP202 Air Purifier MAX works really well. Setup is extremely easy and we were up and going on no time. We have 5 cats in and a dog our home and can cause some allergy issues for some. Once you plug the Max in it will analyze the air quality in your space. About 80 minutes went by and the air quality had hit 100% which is amazing. It says it will clean the air of upto 1200sqft but we live in a place that's 1600swft and it works just fine though we do have a lot of open space and this could be why. Your mileage may vary. I love the way this automatically senses the air quality and then sets about giving you great quality air. With this in our home we rarely see the air quality dip and I have confidence knowing it's going to optimize our air quality without needing to check it over and over. The build quality if the device is extremely good and it's so quiet., It's super simple to use and is something I've never really thought about buying before. Now I've tested this out I can say I've been missing out all this time. Excellent product and highly recommend

This never did lock in odor after running it for a bit. That was my main reason for getting the Shark purifier.

This purifier is really great. We currently have it set up in my son's room. He battles with a lot of airborne allergies. This purifier has made a world of difference in his sleep quality. There are 3 very distinct lights to let you know what kind of air quality is in the air, red, yellow green. The purifier also lets you know how much time it will take to clean the air in the room. On top of the time, there are several other quality views. You can switch between pm 1.0, pm 2.5, pm 10, clean air percent and the amount of time it will take to clean the air. I also really love that it is sleek looking, it's big, but not huge! There is also an auto eco mode, this allows the fan speed to automatically adjust. The filer says it lasts 8-12 months. There is also a child lock to help keep kids from changing settings. We have really enjoyed it so far. My only complaint is that it can get kind of loud when it is filtering particles in the red and yellow zones. I highly recommend this product you are looking for a purifier!

I absolutely love this air purifier. Before this product I have used and owned one by Blue Air and loved it, however, I think this air purifier is much better and I plan on buying another one. This unit is very well made and feels premium. It is supposed to cover roughly 1200 Sq Ft. I have no way of verifying this but mine is set up in an open kitchen/living room and also an office. It certainly handles these areas exceptionally well and I feel a noticeable quality of life improvement in these rooms as I do the other room that houses the blue air purifier. In the rooms that do not have a purifier it is a noticeable difference. The shark gives off little to no noise which is a huge bonus. I also have to say we have repainted and sanded our walls in the kitchen and their was minimal dust since the shark picked most of it up. This for me is a massive tell all that the product works. Overall I am extremely impressed and pleased with this product. I highly recommend and plan on purchasing one for myself.

I have no idea why I was thinking this was a little bigger than a couple stacked coffee cans, but it's actually around hip-height on me. That's not to say that's a bad thing, but be sure you have the space for this. The bottom half is all HEPA filter, so it does an effective job of cleaning the air. My first thought after seeing the size was that it must sound like a jet engine when working. This was of concern because we planned on putting it in the family room near our sofa. We have a cat and her dander causes my wife's allergies to go into high gear in the summer when it's exacerbated with pollen from the trees behind our house and dust from the nearby farms. Once I turned it on I was very relieved to find it makes nearly no noise at all. I had to double check to be sure the fan was turning. Thanks to the size of the fan it's able to move quite a bit of air without having to run the fan at full blast. Once you plug it in and turn it on that's pretty much the last time you'll really need to interact with it. We have it in auto mode and it quietly goes about its business cleaning the air. A few times we've been cooking at the other end of the first floor and the purifier sensed more pollutants in the air from smoke and oil and automatically turned itself up until the air was cleared and then went back to it's quiet whisper. The front has a display that shows air quality at a glance. When it's doing its thing maintaining the display is blue, but turned orange when we were cooking. I have to say that it does make a difference. My wife's allergies seem better. We left it off while we were out of town for over a week and when we returned her allergies acted up again until it ran for a couple days. Getting to the filter is easy; the bottom just opens up. When you receive it the filter is inside but wrapped in plastic. There is a sticker on the front reminding you to open it and unwrap the filter, but just in case, here's a reminder to do that first! I'm also happy that for such a big appliance it's actually pretty attractive. Thankfully they didn't go over the top with the design or lighting, just a cylinder with a pleasing circular display on front. It should blend in despite its size. I would highly recommend this for allergy sufferers and people with pets or in dusty locations.

Worked for a couple weeks then took a crap! I wouldn’t buy again.

it does not go under 100%. I don't think it works and it's very useless to me.

Show E1 error suddenly. No solve even support team. Just one year, not so use often.

Not sure what it does but cleaning air it does not. Still the same amount of dust and allergens.

It works slower at clearing the air than the other one we have.

Damaged. I was very excited to try it but So disappointed that it was damaged. It makes a really weird noise and it’s missing the remote.
