It’s definitely a good vacuum especially for the price we got it on during the holidays. My only complaint is that the capacity of stuff you can vacuum up isn’t ideal for larger households unless you don’t mind dumping it out for each room or two you do. Our town home is pretty ideal for one good vacuuming before needing to dump but if you live in a large household you might plan to make a few trips to the garbage bin.

Love the shark handheld stick vacuum, the only drawback is that you have to empty it quite often.

Three dogs, inside, hard wood floors, carpets, etc. This gets used A LOT. Does a great job. My daughter and I have long hair so I check it for build up to maintain the spinning at optimum. Pet hair is gone. Hubby has allergies so it is important it gets cleaned and this does the trick.

I've been looking the perfect vacuum cleaner for laminate floors, vehicles, and that can be used for other household cleaning. I also have an in home 8 month old, 70 lbs German Shepherd puppy that sheds ALOT! This vacuum in my opion and experiences is way better than any Dyson I have tried. I'll recommend this vacuum to everyone.

I already owned the Shark Rocket and there was nothing wrong with it, it is an amazing vacuum but then they decided to come out with one that doesn't tangle hair on roller. Game changer, I had to get it and try, that was absolutely the only thing I didn't like about my other vacuum. So far this one has not disappointed either, lightweight, has a light, free standing and powerful.

This is a great vacuum. It was Consumer Guides #1 pick for 6 pound and over vacuum. Totally amazed at the amount of dog hair it picked up. I would recommended this vacuum and I would buy it again. I have had it for 2 months.

I didn’t think a vacuum that only draws 5 amps and has just a 9” cleaning path would serve any real purpose for me. My main upright vacuum is a full 12 amps and does a great job at cleaning carpets, hardwoods, and tile. I have had it for several years and it continues to work like new. I tried the Shark in a carpeted room that been swept by my main upright a couple of days earlier. I knew there was no way this lightweight would do too much. After all, it draws less than ½ the power of my upright. I was wrong. The little Shark filled its dirt cup up nearly half full. The vacuum has two power settings on its power head. 1 for bare floors and 2 for carpet. These settings don’t appear to increase suction power, just increase or decrease the speed at which the brushes rotate. The motorized head has a rotating soft, fuzzy roller and a normal brushed roller behind the fuzzy roller. The motorized head has 2 LED lights to illuminate the cleaning path in front and a red/green LED to let you know if the brush head is turning or not. I was able to stop the brushes from turning while trying to sweep an area rug with a very long shag-type pile. The LED turned red. I shut off the vacuum, waited about 3 seconds and turned the vacuum back on. The LED turned green and brushes started rotating. I never had them stop again. The vacuum swivels at the brush head and the vacuum will lay almost flat to the floor, making it a breeze to sweep under furniture. While it does not go completely flat to the floor because of the motor, I have had no problem reaching under any of my beds or other furniture. The LED's do a good job of illuminating under your furniture so you can see where you have and have not swept. The Shark has now become the go-to appliance for daily cleanups, even over my cordless stick vacuum from another manufacturer. It is a little awkward when you first start using the vacuum, as the weight is at the top of the vacuum instead of at the base like most uprights. It kind of feels like using a weed eater. With there being no weight on the brush head, you have to be cognizant that the brushes stay in contact with the floor while you use it. But, at less than 10 pounds it isn't tiring to use. Shark includes a few attachments like a brush and crevice tool and there are many more useful ones that are available for purchase separately. The accessories are easy to attach and don’t require a bunch of steps to get them fitted like a normal upright. The Shark has multiple ways to convert it based on your task. You can use it like an upright, you can use just the motor and an accessory, or you can detach the extension from the powered brush head and use it with the tools to extend your reach. While I don’t know if this is a suitable replacement for a full size upright, especially for those with larger homes. I could see those that have smaller homes or apartments making this their only vacuum. It is a great vacuum for quick cleanups along with general everyday cleaning. I have even started using it to clean up my cars. It has just enough power to get rid of the grit and grime that accumulates on the floors and mats, and most importantly, the included attachments can reach places my shop vac or upright never could. It would be great if Shark included a few more attachments with the vacuum instead of making them available at additional cost. In particular, I think they should include the wall mount bracket instead of making it separate. The vacuum won’t stand up by itself unless you remove the motor and clip it to the molded hook at the top of the brush head. I think the wall mount bracket would be a must have accessory. This vacuum is super convenient and works well. As a bonus, I have not had any hair get wrapped up and stuck around the brush head, and I have tried repeatedly. AWESOME!! I would definitely recommend this product.
