Unusable
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. Exhausting to use. The motor is on top and you can only vacuum for a short time before having to take a break to rest your arms. 2. Doesn't stand up. So while you're cleaning the vacuum is laying on the floor. Dangerous as you're constantly tripping over it. 3. Since it doesn't stand up and you need it out of the way while you're vacuuming you have to find something to lean it on. 4. There is no way to empty the dirt cup without the contents falling out. 5. The hooks for the cord are designed in such a way that they don't hold the cord. It falls off all the time. 6. It weighs way too much for a stick vacuum. 7. While you're winding up the cord, since the vacuum doesn't stand up, it's rolling away from you. Having the bottom on the floor doesn't stop it from rolling away. 8. While vacuuming it constantly clicks back into a locked position so you hav to stop and step on it again and again. This vacuum is going back. Good riddance.

Longest cord imaginable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brought it because it's suppossed to self clean especially with dog hair on roller The stick is too top heavy. The cord is so ridiculously long that I got tangled in it.No button to retract cord and extend as needed.Great suction but not worth the risk of tangled when cleaning stairs

Just as promised!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vac was very highly rated for, amongst other things, the way it handled pet hair... Score! We have a long haired dog and lots tile, so testing it out was no issue. It delivered! Yes, vacuum technology has evolved!

easy to put together
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i've never owned a shark or a expensive vacuum, so this vacuum was nothing like the ones I ever used before. First, putting it together was very easy. Took about 5 minutes tops. You don't need any tools, everything snaps into place.

I miss this vacuum.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this vaccine however they don’t make them anymore. I had to trade it in for another one. My daughter broke the dust latch and I was forced to used the protection I had on it to get another one.

Love love love!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this vacuum. My daughter and I both have long hair and we have a dog and cat that are always shedding. I used to have to clean the roller every time I vacuumed. Now I never have to clean it.

Great vacuum for apartments, condos
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product. Own a Rocket vacuum that does the job but this one has a wider floor nozzle with double (self-cleaning) rollers that do a better job.

Looks promising
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn’t get a chance to use it too much yet, but it works very smooth on hardwood. It basically moves on its own with little force. Good suction. Haven’t tested it on carpet yet.

Excellent product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.my only compliant about this product is that it does not have on-board storage for the attachments, but that is such a minor detail. Overall it has done what i expected it to do and is great.

Powerful
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vacuum is amazing. I live in a small house so it’s convenient in its size because it’s not bulky, but it cleans up very well. And has a bright light to let you see in hard spots.

Modular and Versatile
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark APEX DuoClean ZS362 is a versatile machine – going from a floor vac to a hand vac, and all the parts in between. It has two suction levels: “Carpet” and “Bare Floor/Small Area Rug.” It performs well in both. In suction ability, I had no problem picking up the normal debris one may find in the home. Actually, I saw it pick up various bits of dust and hair on a small rug that I thought was already clean! What’s inside: The unit is fairly modular and includes the typical attachments you would expect to find, such as a motorized floor nozzle (with headlights), crevice tool and duster. The “Wand” is a long, rigid tube that attaches the main vacuum unit to the motorized floor nozzle. Construction: The Shark APEX DuoClean ZS362 is very simple to assemble. The various parts snap snugly into place and there are various latches to release them. Maintenance looks straight-forward: there are release latches for the dust cup, motorized floor nozzle, brushes, filters, etc. The whole unit is powered directly from a cable (not cordless) and this makes sense for a vacuum this size. The dust cup is a small receptacle that you can see into. This really shows what the vacuum picks up. The only downside of this is that you may also see things you don’t want to see (in my case, insects.) I’m not sure if this was on purpose, but Shark made the cup a bit darker and not completely clear, which helps a bit on that front. There is a simple button to release the dust cup for emptying. What I liked: I really liked the versatility of this vacuum. In floor vac mode, the motorized floor nozzle could move in some sharp directions and it really allowed me to navigate around obstacles with ease. Taking off the floor nozzle, I could use the wand and other tools to get into some tough spaces. Finally, in handheld mode, I could suck up debris on my desk and other dirty computer areas. Holding the main unit is comfortable and not heavy at all. What I Didn’t Like: Since this is a corded vacuum, there’s nowhere to really store the power cable unless the full unit is assembled. There are side hooks to wrap the cable around, which is what we see in standard floor vacuums. It would be nice to have some inner cable management mechanism, but it’s understandable that such an addition would add some size to the main unit (the power cord is quite long). Most standard floor vacuums have a foot switch that allows you to release the motorized base from its locked position. The ZS362 does this instead by friction. You essentially keep your foot on the unit to pull it out from its locking position. That is, plastic on plastic keeping it in a locked position via a little notch. My fear is that if the plastic wears down or breaks, you will no longer be able to lock the motorized floor nozzle in place. Finally, again, this unit is very modular. There’s a little hook allowing the main unit to attach to the bottom of the wand to be stored away, but the wand must be attached to the motorized base for this to make sense…and that long wand isn’t telescoping or separable into smaller parts. I think if Shark had moved the storage hook from the bottom of the wand to the top of the motorized nozzle – and allowed the wand to be disassembled or reduced to smaller parts, it would allow the entire unit to be stored in a small area of about 12”x12”x20” That would have made the ZS362 perfect for smaller spaces. Verdict Other than my worry about the motorized nozzle locking notch, I didn’t really have any issues with the functionality of the vacuum. The ZDS362 is sturdy overall and does a good job picking up the dirt. Although I wouldn’t recommend it as your main vacuum if you have a larger home with wall-to-wall carpeting throughout, the ZS362 performs well and I consider it a good buy.

will not stand upright
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All the advertisements show this product standing freely upright. In realty, it won't so you have to lean on something or lay it down. The actual vacuming is great.
